Spring 2012: And the winner is…

The Spring 2012 season came to an official conclusion on Tuesday night, complete with prize disbursement and the announcement of the various season-ending awards.This season proved to be a big one for returning bowlers shooting their all time personal bests (obviously rookies had their highest games, series, and average ever in the league this season so we left them off):Highest game?AJ Hofmann, Aubrey Moren, Bob Brunker, Eric Lynch, Freda Schroeder, Scott Murdock, Seth Gunderson, and Teresa DeterdingHighest series?AJ Hofmann, Aubrey Moren, Bill Krejci, Carl Goetz, Ian Goetz, Jake Parrott, Jason Garcia, Jonathan Vigliaturo, Rob Kaszuba, Russell Madsen, Sabrina Gray, Teresa DeterdingHighest season-ending average?AJ Hofmann, Aubrey Moren, Bill Riley, Carl Goetz, Jake Parrott, Jason Garcia, Jonathan Vigliaturo, Kelly Anderson, Mike Berlin, Ryan Doll, Sabrina Gray, Teresa DeterdingFive bowlers also put up scores that put them into the all-time records in league history:Carl Goetz moved up to the #2 spot on the Men's High Series Scratch record with his 735 and ties Cory Chorpenning for the 3rd spot on Men's High Average with his 208. Ryan Doll is tied now with John Boren for 5th in that same category with his 202 average.Anita Osthoff took over 5th place on the Women's High Series Scratch with her 518 as well as finds herself tied with Jennifer Seefeldt for 3rd place for Women's High Average for her 159.Freda Schroeder threw the #2 highest Women's High Game Scratch with her 234. As this season's champ, Ian received an additional $50 in his prize envelope. Russell received $30 for second place.
