Spring 2002 Week 2 Robo-RecapThe second week of Spring 2002 saw two teams climb in the standings, while two teams slipped. One bowler roll a new personal best game. Kathy Smith picked up this week's high game (191) and series (493) for the women, while Pat Searcy earned this week's high game (242) and series (601) for the men. Read on for all the rest of the details!

First up, on lanes 1 & 2: Team 3 took turns kicking the ball return with Fab Four. Regardless of the star power of Kathy Smith with her 493 series, Team 3 got swept by Fab Four. Conversely, Most Valuable Bowler Nik Domann dominated Fab Four with his marvelous 474 as they swept the competition. Team 3 drops 1 spot in the standings to 4th place, while Fab Four moves 1 spot to 1st.

Finally, down on lanes 3 & 4: Top Guns spent some quality time with Team 2. While headlined by Pat Searcy with his amazing 601 series, Top Guns accomplished only 1 win against Team 2. Countering this, #1 Power Ranked and #1 Head-to-Head Jeff Gragg reigned supreme in Team 2 with his outstanding 527 as his team took the series with 3 wins. Top Guns drop 1 spot in the standings to 2nd place, while Team 2 moves 1 spot to 3rd.

Bowlers bribing their way into The 200 Club include: Bill Krejci (200) and Pat Searcy (242,206)

A new personal high game was set tonight by Bill Krejci (200, previous best 189).

Kathy Smith earned both this season's women's high game and series with her 191 and 493, respectively. In addition, Pat Searcy nabbed both high game and series for the men this season with his 242 and 601, respectively.

The 191 rolled by Kathy Smith is tied for the 9th-best women's game in league history! (This is also the league's 19th-best game overall.)
PAT SEARCY SET THE NEW ALL-TIME HIGH GAME FOR MEN WITH HIS 242! CONGRATULATIONS!
The 493 rolled by Kathy Smith is the new 9th-best women's series in league history!
The 601 rolled by Pat Searcy is the new 2nd-best men's series in league history!

NEXT WEEK:
  • First, on lanes 1&2, 3rd-place Team 2 will hang out with 4th-place Team 3. Team 2 is expected to see a pretty significant "market correction" to their averages, but split the series with Team 3; while Team 3 is forecast to see their team average take a dive while they keep the series tied.
  • Finally, on lanes 3&4, 1st-place Fab Four will share a couple of pitchers with 2nd-place Top Guns. Fab Four is predicted to tank their averages considerably, but split the series with Top Guns; while Top Guns are anticipated to see their team average take a dive while they keep the series tied.
*(Remember, the predicted results above are based on mathematical extrapolations and can be changed by all sorts of factors. If you don't like how your team's results are predicted, you and your teammates have the power to prove the math wrong!)
