The Fall 2005 season is now underway, with eight teams entering the 16-week competition for the coveted, nonexistent championship trophy. Two bowlers set a new personal best series, and three rolled new personal high games. Tracy Rychlewski landed this week's high game for the women with a 183, and women's high series was bagged by Freda Schroeder with a 484. As for the men, Ken M. Wilson earned this week's high game (238) and series (642). Read on for all the rest of the details!
First up, on lanes 19 & 20: Same Belt, New Notch sparred with Three Men and a Babe. Blessed by Carl Goetz with his 541 series, the Belt split the series with Three Men and a Babe. Meanwhile, #1 Power Ranked and #1 Head-to-Head Ken M. Wilson shined in Three Men and a Babe with his dramatic 642 as they matched their opponent in wins. Same Belt, New Notch begins the season in 3rd place, while Three Men and a Babe commences the season with 4th.
On lanes 21 & 22: Tatonka kept grabbing the balls of Bora Bora!. Highlighting the skills of Will Jeter with his 437 series, Tatonka split the series with Bora Bora!. As for the opposition, Freda Schroeder drew the spotlight in Bora Bora! with her 484 as they matched their opponent in wins. Tatonka gets underway in 6th place, while Bora Bora! gets rolling in 5th.
On lanes 23 & 24: The Big LeBowlskies entered a showdown to the death with Derka, Derka. Though reinforced by Dennis Laube with his 455 series, The Big LeBowlskies accomplished only 1 win against Derka, Derka. In the midst of this, Rich DeYoung laid down the law in Derka, Derka with his 539 as his team took the series with 3 wins. The Big LeBowlskies begins with 8th place, while Derka, Derka gets going with 1st.
Finally, down on lanes 25 & 26: Munson'd hung out with Harry Potter and the Magic Balls. Despite being led by Thomas Fowler with his 423 series, Munson'd accomplished only 1 win against Harry Potter. On the other side, Andy Metzler commanded Harry Potter with his marvelous 543 as his team took the series with 3 wins. Munson'd starts out in 7th place, while Harry Potter starts off with 2nd.

In addition, new personal best series were rolled by Tracy Rychlewski (452, previous best 373) and Andy Metzler (543, previous best 512).
