The Fall 2005 season is now underway, with eight teams entering the 16-week competition for the coveted, nonexistent championship trophy. Two bowlers set a new personal best series, and three rolled new personal high games. Tracy Rychlewski landed this week's high game for the women with a 183, and women's high series was bagged by Freda Schroeder with a 484. As for the men, Ken M. Wilson earned this week's high game (238) and series (642). Read on for all the rest of the details!
First up, on lanes 19 & 20: Same Belt, New Notch had some one-on-one time with Three Men and a Babe. Featuring Carl Goetz with his 541 series, the Belt split the series with Three Men and a Babe. Concurrently, #1 Power Ranked and #1 Head-to-Head Ken M. Wilson took the lead in Three Men and a Babe with his wondrous 642 as they matched their opponent in wins. Same Belt, New Notch begins with 3rd place, while Three Men and a Babe begins in 4th.
On lanes 21 & 22: Tatonka couldn't stop inappropriately groping Bora Bora!. Highlighting the skills of Will Jeter with his 437 series, Tatonka split the series with Bora Bora!. Simultaneously, Freda Schroeder commanded Bora Bora! with her 484 as they matched their opponent in wins. Tatonka gets underway in 6th place, while Bora Bora! gets going with 5th.
On lanes 23 & 24: The Big LeBowlskies had a delightful time with Derka, Derka. Despite the strength of Dennis Laube with his 455 series, The Big LeBowlskies accomplished only 1 win against Derka, Derka. In the meantime, Rich DeYoung guided Derka, Derka with his 539 as his team took the series with 3 wins. The Big LeBowlskies starts out in 8th place, while Derka, Derka starts off with 1st.
Finally, down on lanes 25 & 26: Munson'd sparred with Harry Potter and the Magic Balls. Despite being led by Thomas Fowler with his 423 series, Munson'd accomplished only 1 win against Harry Potter. On the adjacent lane, Andy Metzler reigned supreme in Harry Potter with his dramatic 543 as his team took the series with 3 wins. Munson'd leaves the gate in 7th place, while Harry Potter gets rolling in 2nd.
