The fifteenth week of Spring 2007 saw one team climb in the standings, while four teams slipped. One bowler set a new personal best series, and one rolled new personal high game. Angela Bradford picked up this week's high game (187) and series (535) for the women. As for the men, Carl Goetz snagged this week's high game with a 237, and high series was earned by Ken M. Wilson with a 626. Meanwhile, Tournament of Champions is officially down to its final eight bowlers, who will face each other next week competing for two cash prizes! First up, on lanes 15 & 16: T.B.D. sparred with X9XX. Although topped by Nik Domann with his 520 series, T.B.D. got swept by X9XX. Conversely, Dennis Laube guided X9XX with his above-average 507 as they swept the competition. T.B.D. remains in 10th place, while X9XX remains in 3rd.
On lanes 17 & 18: King Pins kept stealing sips of beer from Unstoppabowl. Regardless of the star power of Duncan Ferber with his 548 series, King Pins accomplished only 1 win against Unstoppabowl. Meanwhile, Kendall Kukowski commanded Unstoppabowl with his above-average 487 (along with kudos to #1 Power-Ranked and Most Valuable Bowler Greg Middleton, as well as #1 Head-to-Head ) as his team took the series with 3 wins. King Pins drop 1 spot in the standings to 7th place, while Unstoppabowl remains in 4th.
On lanes 19 & 20: Guttersluts spent some quality time with Frickin' Ten Pin. Demonstrating the prowess of John Boren with his above-average 595 series, Guttersluts collected 3 wins against Ten Pin. Simultaneously, Carl Goetz dominated Ten Pin with his 550 despite his team notching only a single win. Guttersluts remains in 1st place, while Ten Pin sinks 1 spot to 8th.
On lanes 21 & 22: Doll's Balls waged a heated competition against Churn and Burn. With the strength of Ryan Doll with his spectacular 590 series, Doll's Balls celebrated a clean sweep over Churn and Burn. . With Churn and Burn forfeiting, all Doll's Balls needed to do was roll within 40 pins of their combined team average each game. Mission accomplished. Doll's Balls leap 4 spots in the standings to 5th place, while Churn and Burn sinks 1 spot to 9th.
Finally, down on lanes 23 & 24: Oily Balls had a delightful time with Those 4 Bowlers. Highlighting the skills of #1 Head-to-Head Ken M. Wilson and his above-average 626 series, Oily Balls celebrated a clean sweep over 4 Bowlers. In the meantime, Seth Gunderson shined in 4 Bowlers with his 538 despite his team getting swept. Oily Balls remains in 2nd place, while 4 Bowlers sink 1 spot to 6th.

A new personal high game was set tonight by Greg Middleton (223, previous best 186). In addition, a new personal best series was rolled by Chris Lewis (502, previous best 498).
In this week's Tournament of Champions brackets: Ken M. Wilson cleaned up Division 1, while Freda Schroeder staked a claim for the Iron Throne in Division 2. Chris Lewis creamed Division 3, and Andee Weinfurt spanked Division 4. And, finally, nobody claimed victory in the Interdivisional bracket, and in fact we aren't even going to talk about this bracket as it was a complete embarassment. Congratulations to our division champions! The following eight people will compete next week for the big prize!

NEXT WEEK:
- First, on lanes 15&16, 1st-place Guttersluts (hcp 48) will meet with 2nd-place Oily Balls. Guttersluts are expected to maintain their current strength as they get swept; while Oily Balls are forecast to hold steady as they rack up a sweep.
- Moving to lanes 17&18, 3rd-place X9XX will face 4th-place Unstoppabowl (hcp 56). X9XX might maintain their current strength as they just barely miss sweeping the series; while Unstoppabowl ought to hold steady as they just barely avoid getting swept.
- Then, over on lanes 19&20, 5th-place Doll's Balls (hcp 3) will match wits with 6th-place Those 4 Bowlers. Doll's Balls will likely roll decently, yet still manage to lose the series but avoid getting swept; while 4 Bowlers will probably raise their average while they enjoy their victories.
