The Spring 2007 season draws to a close, with Guttersluts officially earning this season's championship title! The final week saw three teams climb in the standings, while three teams slipped. One bowler set a new personal best series. Angela Bradford picked up this week's high game (189) and series (527) for the women. As for the men, Duncan Ferber snagged this week's high game with a 225, and high series was earned by Bill Krejci with a 621. Read on for all the rest of the details!
First up, on lanes 15 & 16: Guttersluts tussled with Oily Balls. Highlighting the skills of #1 Head-to-Head Bill Krejci and his breathtaking 621 series, Guttersluts collected 3 wins against Oily Balls. Simultaneously, Pat Searcy laid down the law in Oily Balls with his 575 despite his team notching only a single win. Guttersluts close out in 1st place, while Oily Balls cros the finish line in 2nd.
On lanes 17 & 18: X9XX accepted a challenge by Unstoppabowl. Regardless of the star power of Stefan Miller with his above-average 546 series, X9XX accomplished only 1 win against Unstoppabowl. Concurrently, Cory Chorpenning mastered Unstoppabowl with his below-average 510 as his team took the series with 3 wins. X9XX drops 1 spot in the standings to end in 4th place, while Unstoppabowl moves 1 spot to end up with 3rd.
On lanes 19 & 20: Doll's Balls matched wits with Those 4 Bowlers. Blessed by Ryan Doll with his above-average 562 series, Doll's Balls collected 3 wins against 4 Bowlers. Meanwhile, Seth Gunderson drew the spotlight in 4 Bowlers with his above-average 586 despite his team notching only a single win. Doll's Balls end the season in 5th place, while 4 Bowlers sink 1 spot to go home with 7th.
On lanes 21 & 22: King Pins couldn't stop inappropriately groping Frickin' Ten Pin. Demonstrating the prowess of John Coleman with his 569 series, King Pins collected 3 wins against Ten Pin. In the meantime, Carl Goetz shined in Ten Pin with his below-average 530 despite his team notching only a single win. King Pins leap 1 spot in the standings to complete in 6th place, while Ten Pin come out in 8th.
Finally, down on lanes 23 & 24: Churn and Burn traded lane malfunctions with T.B.D.. Despite the strength of James Cholke with his above-average 508 series, Churn and Burn got swept by T.B.D.. In the midst of this, #1 Power-Ranked and Most Valuable Bowler Tyler Hilker called the shots for T.B.D. with his outstanding 535 as they swept the competition. Churn and Burn drops 1 spot in the standings to 10th place, while T.B.D. moves 1 spot to 9th.
