An Extremely Late Fall 2020 Recap

This has been a really busy last several weeks so I apologize that it has take SO LONG to get this out. Here is an abbreviated Fall 2020 Recap, where you can find out who won all the individual awards that we didn't collect prize money for but they still at least matter for bragging rights.

Everyone already knows the story of how LETITSNOW was in first place straight out of the gate and never left that spot the entire season. So while it's important to remind everyone that Ben Spencer and AJ Hofmann finally both have a championship under their belts, we'll go ahead and move on from that. and jump straight to the individual awards...

SEASON INDIVIDUAL AWARDS:

Ben Spencer is #1 Power ranked bowler, Curtis Whiles is runner up.

LETITSNOW is #1 Power ranked team, Six Games Apart is runner up.

Head to Head: Ben Spencer would have won 61.6% of all possible one-on-one matchups this season, Dennis Walling comes in second with 58.8%.

The miniaturized Tournament of Champions was won by Ben Spencer, with AJ Hofmann as runner-up.

Since we did not have Fun Week this season, we opted to skip the People's Choice Awards this time around.

SOME TRIVIA FACTS ABOUT THE FALL 2020 SEASON:

  • Though we had four teams of three people each, this was neither the smallest teams we've ever had nor the smallest number of teams. It was, however, the smallest number of bowlers (12) and the shortest in duration (8 weeks).
  • We had no rookies and no subs.
  • In terms of overall league average, this was our third best season ever with a combined league average of 165.1606.
