The Fall 2003 season is now underway, with eight teams entering the 16-week competition for the coveted, nonexistent championship trophy. Two bowlers set a new personal best series, and three rolled new personal high games. Angela Bradford picked up this week's high game (193) and series (533) for the women, while David Codding earned this week's high game (256) and series (648) for the men. First up, on lanes 17 & 18: Anchors Aweigh! entered a showdown to the death with Gutter Minds. Featuring #1 Power Ranked and #1 Head-to-Head David Codding and his remarkable 648 series, the Anchors split the series with Gutter Minds. On the other side, Angela Bradford reigned supreme in Gutter Minds with her staggering 533 as they matched their opponent in wins. Anchors Aweigh! starts out in 2nd place, while Gutter Minds commence the season with 3rd.
On lanes 19 & 20: Bowlers of Mass Confusion spent a romantic evening with Wolverines. With the strength of Corey Weinfurt with his 451 series, Mass Confusion split the series with the Wolverines. On the adjacent lane, Thomas Lin showed off in the Wolverines with his 468 as they matched their opponent in wins. Bowlers of Mass Confusion gets underway in 6th place, while the Wolverines get going with 7th.
On lanes 21 & 22: Spare Change alternated between bowling and dry humping Theee Beeelt. Topped by Demond Robinson with his 507 series, Spare Change split the series with Theee Beeelt. On the flipside, Aaron Weidner commanded Theee Beeelt with his miraculous 500 as they matched their opponent in wins. Spare Change leaves the gate in 4th place, while Theee Beeelt begins in 5th.
Finally, down on lanes 23 & 24: Atomic Goo had some one-on-one time with Bowl me Ishmael!. Starring Steve Robinson with his 489 series, with kudos to Most Valuable Bowler Marca Robinson, Atomic Goo collected 3 wins against Ishmael. Conversely, Cindy Olsen ruled Ishmael with her 286 despite her team notching only a single win. Atomic Goo begins with 1st place, while Ishmael gets rolling in 8th.
Bowlers slipping into The 200 Club include: David Codding (200,256)

New personal high games were set tonight by David Codding (256, previous best 239), Deena Slinkard (180, previous best 177), and Aaron Weidner (189, previous best 175). In addition, new personal best series were rolled by David Codding (648, previous best 605) and Aaron Weidner (500, previous best 445). The 256 rolled by David Codding is tied for the 2nd-best game in league history!
The 533 rolled by Angela Bradford is the new 4th-best women's series in league history!
