The fourteenth week of Fall 2002 saw one team climb in the standings, while one team slipped. Janelle (Laube) Lamar picked up this week's high game (163) and series (446) for the women, while Carl Goetz earned this week's high game (206) and series (611) for the men. Read on for all the rest of the details!
First up, on lanes 17 & 18: Top Guns waged a heated competition against GRRR. Blessed by Pat Searcy with his 544 series, with kudos to Most Valuable Bowler Phil Schroeder, Top Guns collected 3 wins against GRRR. Conversely, Sharon Turner ruled GRRR with her 419 despite her team notching only a single win. Top Guns leap 1 spot in the standings to 2nd place, while GRRR remains in 6th.
On lanes 19 & 20: Team 5 traded lane malfunctions with Pop Gunns. In spite of the prowess of David Codding with his remarkable 527 series, Team 5 accomplished only 1 win against Pop Gunns. In the meantime, #1 Power Ranked and #1 Head-to-Head Carl Goetz shined in Pop Gunns with his terrific 611 as his team took the series with 3 wins. Team 5 drops 1 spot in the standings to 3rd place, while Pop Gunns remain in 1st.
Finally, down on lanes 21 & 22: Team 6 accepted a challenge by UnaBowlers. Although topped by Janelle (Laube) Lamar with her spectacular 446 series, Team 6 accomplished only 1 win against the UnaBowlers. Meanwhile, Justin Strelow oversaw the UnaBowlers with his above-average 494 as his team took the series with 3 wins. Team 6 remains in 4th place, while the UnaBowlers remain in 5th.

NEXT WEEK:
- First, on lanes 17&18, 1st-place Pop Gunns will throw some gutter balls with 4th-place Team 6. Pop Gunns are expected to see their averages fall off a cliff, but split the series with Team 6; while Team 6 is forecast to see their team average take a dive while they keep the series tied.
- Moving to lanes 19&20, 5th-place UnaBowlers will compete against 6th-place GRRR. The UnaBowlers might see a pretty significant "market correction" to their averages, but split the series with GRRR; while GRRR ought to see their team average take a dive while they keep the series tied.
- Finally, on lanes 21&22, 3rd-place Team 5 will meet with 2nd-place Top Guns. Team 5 is predicted to have the bottom drop out of their averages, but split the series with Top Guns; while Top Guns are anticipated to see their team average take a dive while they keep the series tied.
*(Remember, the predicted results above are based on mathematical extrapolations and can be changed by all sorts of factors. If you don't like how your team's results are predicted, you and your teammates have the power to prove the math wrong!)
