The thirteenth week of Fall 2002 saw one team climb in the standings, while two teams slipped. Freda Schroeder picked up this week's high game (158) and series (436) for the women, while Ken M. Wilson earned this week's high game (227) and series (585) for the men. Read on for all the rest of the details!
First up, on lanes 17 & 18: Team 5 hung out with UnaBowlers. In spite of the prowess of David Parre with his below-average 438 series, Team 5 accomplished only 1 win against the UnaBowlers. On the flipside, Justin Strelow commanded the UnaBowlers with his 452 as his team took the series with 3 wins. Team 5 drops 1 spot in the standings to 2nd place, while the UnaBowlers remain in 5th.
On lanes 19 & 20: GRRR couldn't stop undressing with their eyes the members of Team 6. Although blessed by Sharon Turner with her 396 series, GRRR got swept by Team 6. While that was going down, Nik Domann laid down the law in Team 6 with his above-average 461 as they swept the competition. GRRR remains in 6th place, while Team 6 remains in 4th.
Finally, down on lanes 21 & 22: Top Guns kept grabbing the balls of Pop Gunns. Notwithstanding the leadership of Pat Searcy with his 543 series, Top Guns accomplished only 1 win against Pop Gunns. In the meantime, #1 Power-Ranked Ken M. Wilson shined in Pop Gunns with his above-average 585 (along with a major contribution by #1 Head-to-Head and Most Valuable Bowler Dennis Laube, as well as #1 Power Ranked Ken Wilson) as his team took the series with 3 wins. Top Guns drop 1 spot in the standings to 3rd place, while Pop Gunns jump 2 spots to 1st.
Bowlers enjoying a guest admission to The 200 Club include: Ken M. Wilson (227) and Pat Searcy (201)
NEXT WEEK:
- First, on lanes 17&18, 3rd-place Top Guns will share a couple of pitchers with 6th-place GRRR. Top Guns are expected to have their averages plummet, but split the series with GRRR; while GRRR is forecast to see their team average take a dive while they keep the series tied.
- Moving to lanes 19&20, 2nd-place Team 5 will socialize with 1st-place Pop Gunns. Team 5 might see their averages fall off a cliff, but split the series with Pop Gunns; while Pop Gunns ought to see their team average take a dive while they keep the series tied.
- Finally, on lanes 21&22, 4th-place Team 6 will spend some quality time with 5th-place UnaBowlers. Team 6 is predicted to tank their averages considerably, but split the series with the UnaBowlers; while the UnaBowlers are anticipated to see their team average take a dive while they keep the series tied.
*(Remember, the predicted results above are based on mathematical extrapolations and can be changed by all sorts of factors. If you don't like how your team's results are predicted, you and your teammates have the power to prove the math wrong!)
