The Spring 2026 season has officially burst out of the gates, with six brave teams embarking on a 16-week quest for the coveted, glittering, and entirely nonexistent championship trophy. Fresh oil patterns, questionable spare shooting, and wildly optimistic preseason expectations collided immediately. Individual fireworks lit up the lanes right away, as JoAnne Barber claimed both the women’s high game (131) and high series (381). On the men’s side, Seth Gunderson uncorked a scorching 214 for high game, while Matthew Taylor flexed early dominance with a league-leading 566 series. The table is set, the nerves are jangling, and the season’s storylines are already taking shape.
