The Spring 2005 season is now underway, with eight teams entering the 16-week competition for the coveted, nonexistent championship trophy. One bowler set a new personal best series. Deena Slinkard landed this week's high game for the women with a 170, and women's high series was bagged by Angela Bradford with a 463. As for the men, Pat Searcy earned this week's high game (214) and series (578). Read on for all the rest of the details!
First up, on lanes 19 & 20: All Belt, No Buckle matched wits with Nellielocks and the 3 Spares. Showcasing Demond Robinson with his 512 series, the Belt collected 3 wins against Nellielocks. Concurrently, Dennis Laube showed off in Nellielocks with his 503 despite his team notching only a single win. All Belt, No Buckle begins the season in 1st place, while Nellielocks get going with 6th.
On lanes 21 & 22: 4 Play kept grabbing the balls of Bowlingstar Galactica. Demonstrating the prowess of Pat Searcy with his 578 series, 4 Play split the series with the Galactica. While that was going down, #1 Head-to-Head Eric Lynch oversaw the Galactica with his dramatic 560 as they matched their opponent in wins. 4 Play gets underway in 4th place, while the Galactica starts off with 5th.
On lanes 23 & 24: Handicrappers alternated splits with The Incredibowls. Although blessed by Bill Krejci with his 523 series, Handicrappers accomplished only 1 win against The Incredibowls. On the adjacent lane, Carl Goetz guided The Incredibowls with his 512 as his team took the series with 3 wins. Handicrappers begins with 7th place, while The Incredibowls begin in 2nd.
Finally, down on lanes 25 & 26: Sub Parre alternated between bowling and dry humping Big Pin Pin. Even though highlighted by the skills of David Parre with his 430 series, Sub Parre accomplished only 1 win against Pin Pin. Meanwhile, #1 Power-Ranked Mitch Wheeler dominated Pin Pin with his 565 as his team took the series with 3 wins. Sub Parre leaves the gate in 8th place, while Pin Pin gets rolling in 3rd.
