A stagnated fifteenth week of Fall 2003 resulted in absolutely no movement in the standings. One bowler set a new personal best series. Angela Bradford picked up this week's high game (156) and series (436) for the women, while Thomas Lin earned this week's high game (226) and series (668) for the men. Meanwhile, Tournament of Champions is officially down to its final eight bowlers, who will face each other next week competing for two cash prizes! Read on for all the rest of the details!
First up, on lanes 15 & 16: Bowl me Ishmael! faced off against Gutter Minds. Topped by Most Valuable Bowler Amanda Schulte and her powerful 397 series, Ishmael celebrated a clean sweep over Gutter Minds. In the meantime, Pat Searcy showed off in Gutter Minds with his 556 despite his team getting swept. Bowl me Ishmael! remains in 3rd place, while Gutter Minds remain in 6th.
On lanes 17 & 18: Bowlers of Mass Confusion kept stealing sips of beer from Spare Change. Featuring Justin Strelow with his above-average 500 series, Mass Confusion split the series with Spare Change. Meanwhile, Demond Robinson dominated Spare Change with his 503 as they matched their opponent in wins. Bowlers of Mass Confusion remains in 2nd place, while Spare Change remains in 7th.
On lanes 19 & 20: Theee Beeelt sparred with Anchors Aweigh!. Led by Aaron Weidner with his astonishing 598 series, Theee Beeelt split the series with the Anchors. Simultaneously, Ken M. Wilson took the lead in the Anchors with his above-average 595 as they matched their opponent in wins. Theee Beeelt remains in 4th place, while the Anchors remain in 1st.
Finally, down on lanes 21 & 22: Wolverines alternated between bowling and dry humping Atomic Goo. Reinforced by #1 Power Ranked and #1 Head-to-Head Thomas Lin and his spectacular 668 series, the Wolverines celebrated a clean sweep over Atomic Goo. On the adjacent lane, Phil Schroeder drew the spotlight in Atomic Goo with his 422 despite his team getting swept. Wolverines remains in 5th place, while Atomic Goo remains in 8th.
