The eleventh week of Fall 2002 saw one team climb in the standings, while one team slipped. Two bowlers set a new personal best series. Freda Schroeder picked up this week's high game (165) and series (466) for the women. As for the men, Corey Weinfurt snagged this week's high game with a 192, and high series was earned by Dennis Laube with a 548. Read on for all the rest of the details!
First up, on lanes 17 & 18: GRRR waged a heated competition against Pop Gunns. Though reinforced by Sharon Turner with her above-average 433 series, GRRR accomplished only 1 win against Pop Gunns. While that was going down, trifecta-winner (#1 Head-to-Head, #1 Power-Ranked, and Most Valuable Bowler) Dennis Laube dominated Pop Gunns with his wondrous 548 as his team took the series with 3 wins. GRRR remains in 6th place, while Pop Gunns remain in 2nd.
On lanes 19 & 20: Team 6 couldn't stop undressing with their eyes the members of Team 5. Starring Jim Jones with his astonishing 500 series, Team 6 celebrated a clean sweep over Team 5. In the midst of this, David Parre reigned supreme in Team 5 with his below-average 451 despite his team getting swept. Team 6 remains in 4th place, while Team 5 plunges 2 spots to 3rd.
Finally, down on lanes 21 & 22: UnaBowlers tussled with Top Guns. Despite the strength of Corey Weinfurt with his above-average 472 series, the UnaBowlers got swept by Top Guns. On the other half of the score sheet, Bob Brunker shined in Top Guns with his 489 as they swept the competition. UnaBowlers remains in 5th place, while Top Guns jump 2 spots to 1st.
Bowlers who stripped naked and shared a cozy hottub together in a back room at The 200 Club include: No one at all. We sucked.

New personal best series were rolled tonight by Dennis Laube (548, previous best 521) and Tracey Robertson (385, previous best 372).
NEXT WEEK:
- First, on lanes 17&18, 4th-place Team 6 will socialize with 1st-place Top Guns. Team 6 is expected to see a pretty significant "market correction" to their averages, but split the series with Top Guns; while Top Guns are forecast to see their team average take a dive while they keep the series tied.
- Moving to lanes 19&20, 2nd-place Pop Gunns (hcp 400) will battle 5th-place UnaBowlers. Pop Gunns might watch their averages take a plunge as they get swept; while the UnaBowlers ought to hold steady as they rack up a sweep.
- Finally, on lanes 21&22, 6th-place GRRR will tussle with 3rd-place Team 5. GRRR is predicted to have the bottom drop out of their averages, but split the series with Team 5; while Team 5 is anticipated to see their team average take a dive while they keep the series tied.
