Spring 2007 Week 13 Robo-RecapThe thirteenth week of Spring 2007 saw two teams climb in the standings, while three teams slipped. Angela Bradford picked up this week's high game (222) and series (510) for the women. As for the men, Duncan Ferber snagged this week's high game with a 263, and high series was earned by Don Glasscock with a 659. Read on for all the rest of the details!

First up, on lanes 15 & 16: Churn and Burn traded lane malfunctions with King Pins. Regardless of the star power of Jason Carpio with his below-average 489 series, Churn and Burn accomplished only 1 win against King Pins. Conversely, #1 Power-Ranked and Most Valuable Bowler Duncan Ferber oversaw King Pins with his marvelous 646 as his team took the series with 3 wins. Churn and Burn drops 1 spot in the standings to 8th place, while King Pins jump 2 spots to 6th.

week13On lanes 17 & 18: Guttersluts matched wits with X9XX. Even though highlighted by the skills of Bill Krejci with his 539 series, Guttersluts got swept by X9XX. Simultaneously, Don Glasscock laid down the law in X9XX with his 659 as they swept the competition. Guttersluts remains in 1st place, while X9XX moves 1 spot to 3rd.

On lanes 19 & 20: Unstoppabowl had some one-on-one time with Those 4 Bowlers. Featuring Cory Chorpenning with his above-average 596 series, with props to #1 Head-to-Head bowler , Unstoppabowl split the series with 4 Bowlers. As for the opposition, Seth Gunderson guided 4 Bowlers with his above-average 557 as they matched their opponent in wins. Unstoppabowl drops 1 spot in the standings to 4th place, while 4 Bowlers remain in 5th.

On lanes 21 & 22: Oily Balls accepted a challenge by Frickin' Ten Pin. With top billing by Pat Searcy with his 569 series, Oily Balls split the series with Ten Pin. On the other half of the score sheet, Carl Goetz shined in Ten Pin with his above-average 619 as they matched their opponent in wins. Oily Balls remains in 2nd place, while Ten Pin remains in 9th.

Finally, down on lanes 23 & 24: T.B.D. hung out with Doll's Balls. Showcasing Steve Kiernan with his above-average 598 series, T.B.D. celebrated a clean sweep over Doll's Balls. Meanwhile, John Richardson dominated Doll's Balls with his dramatic 527 despite his team getting swept. T.B.D. remains in 10th place, while Doll's Balls sink 1 spot to 7th.

NEXT WEEK:

  • First, on lanes 15&16, 7th-place Doll's Balls (hcp 29) will chill with 4th-place Unstoppabowl. Doll's Balls are expected to maintain their current strength as they get swept; while Unstoppabowl is forecast to raise their average while they rack up a sweep.
  • Moving to lanes 17&18, 10th-place T.B.D. (hcp 66) will compete against 9th-place Frickin' Ten Pin. T.B.D. might perform well, yet still manage to get swept; while Ten Pin ought to raise their average while they rack up a sweep.
  • Then, over on lanes 19&20, 2nd-place Oily Balls will throw some gutter balls with 6th-place King Pins (hcp 115). Oily Balls will likely maintain their current strength as they sweep the series; while King Pins will probably hold steady as they endure a rough night.
  • Next up, on lanes 21&22, 1st-place Guttersluts will match wits with 5th-place Those 4 Bowlers (hcp 29). Guttersluts might maintain their current strength as they and split the series with 4 Bowlers; while 4 Bowlers ought to hold steady as they keep the series tied.
  • Finally, on lanes 23&24, 3rd-place X9XX will challenge 8th-place Churn and Burn (hcp 88). X9XX is predicted to maintain their current strength as they sweep the series; while Churn and Burn is anticipated to hold steady as they endure a rough night.
*(Remember, the predicted results above are based on mathematical extrapolations and can be changed by all sorts of factors. If you don't like how your team's results are predicted, you and your teammates have the power to prove the math wrong!)
