On lanes 21 & 22: XXX alternated between bowling and dry humping Capt. Awesome & Wonder Friends. Showcasing Tiffany Schmidt with her 320 series, XXX split the series with Wonder Friends. Across the ball return, Ryan Housknecht dominated Wonder Friends with his above-average 433 as they matched their opponent in wins. XXX remains in 10th place, while Wonder Friends remain in 9th.

On lanes 23 & 24: Sh!t, Another Season sparred with No Pinheads. Reinforced by Duncan Ferber with his 559 series, Another Season collected 3 wins against No Pinheads. In the midst of this, Phil Schroeder laid down the law in No Pinheads with his 476 despite his team notching only a single win. Sh!t, Another Season leaps 1 spot in the standings to 4th place, while No Pinheads sink 1 spot to 5th.

On lanes 25 & 26: Turkey Sandwich hung out with Schlitz For Us, Splits For You. Although blessed by Jason Carpio with his below-average 485 series, Turkey Sandwich got swept by Schlitz. Meanwhile, Scott Murdock, Bob Brunker drew the spotlight in Schlitz with their 493 (with kudos to Most Valuable Bowler Scott Murdock) as they swept the competition. Turkey Sandwich drops 1 spot in the standings to 8th place, while Schlitz remains in 1st.

Finally, down on lanes 27 & 28: WWJB matched wits with Rule 6B. Headlined by #1 Power-Ranked Rich Foster and his breathtaking 500 series, WWJB collected 3 wins against Rule 6B. On the other half of the score sheet, Ryan Doll shined in Rule 6B with his 502 despite his team notching only a single win. WWJB leaps 1 spot in the standings to 7th place, while Rule 6B sinks 1 spot to 3rd.

We are now halfway through the Spring 2009 season, so time is running out for those teams who want a shot at the championship to position themselves. The eighth week saw three teams climb in the standings, while three teams slipped. One bowler set a new personal best series, and two rolled new personal high games. Angela Bradford picked up this week's high game (202) and series (528) for the women, while Zach Frank earned this week's high game (213) and series (593) for the men. On lanes 23 & 24: Turkey Sandwich had a delightful time with XXX. Led by #1 Power Ranked and #1 Head-to-Head Zach Frank and his powerful 593 series, Turkey Sandwich collected 3 wins against XXX. On lanes 25 & 26: Sh!t, Another Season kept grabbing the balls of Chicks With Balls. Headlined by Duncan Ferber with his above-average 567 series, Another Season collected 3 wins against the Chicks. Concurrently, Janelle (Laube) Lamar drew the spotlight in the Chicks with her 413 despite her team notching only a single win. Finally, down on lanes 27 & 28: Rule 6B faced off against Schlitz For Us, Splits For You. Featuring Adam Messner with his thrilling 539 series, Rule 6B split the series with Schlitz. Countering this, Angela Bradford called the shots for Schlitz with her above-average 528 as they matched their opponent in wins. Rule 6B remains in 3rd place, while Schlitz remains in 1st.
