The eleventh week of Spring 2009 saw three teams climb in the standings, while three teams slipped. One bowler set a new personal best series, and one rolled new personal high game. Angela Bradford picked up this week's high game (164) and series (455) for the women. As for the men, Duncan Ferber snagged this week's high game with a 233, and high series was earned by Ken M. Wilson with a 608. Read on for all the rest of the details!
First up, on lanes 19 & 20: Chicks With Balls alternated between bowling and dry humping Chico's Bail Bonds. Notwithstanding the leadership of Janelle (Laube) Lamar with her above-average 439 series, the Chicks got swept by Chico's. On the flipside, #1 Head-to-Head Ken M. Wilson oversaw Chico's with his staggering 608 as they swept the competition. Chicks With Balls remains in 6th place, while Chico's move 1 spot to 2nd.
On lanes 21 & 22: XXX waged a heated competition against Capt. Awesome & Wonder Friends. Highlighting the skills of Tiffany Schmidt with her 320 series, XXX split the series with Wonder Friends. On the adjacent lane, Ryan Housknecht commanded Wonder Friends with his above-average 433 as they matched their opponent in wins. XXX remains in 10th place, while Wonder Friends remain in 9th.
On lanes 23 & 24: Sh!t, Another Season shared a platter of cheese sticks with No Pinheads. Reinforced by Duncan Ferber with his 559 series, Another Season collected 3 wins against No Pinheads. Countering this, Phil Schroeder showed off in No Pinheads with his 476 despite his team notching only a single win. Sh!t, Another Season leaps 1 spot in the standings to 4th place, while No Pinheads sink 1 spot to 5th.
On lanes 25 & 26: Turkey Sandwich took turns kicking the ball return with Schlitz For Us, Splits For You. Despite the strength of Jason Carpio with his below-average 485 series, Turkey Sandwich got swept by Schlitz. In the midst of this, Scott Murdock, Bob Brunker reigned supreme in Schlitz with their 493 (with kudos to Most Valuable Bowler Scott Murdock) as they swept the competition. Turkey Sandwich drops 1 spot in the standings to 8th place, while Schlitz remains in 1st.
Finally, down on lanes 27 & 28: WWJB kept grabbing the balls of Rule 6B. Headlined by #1 Power-Ranked Rich Foster and his stunning 500 series, WWJB collected 3 wins against Rule 6B. Concurrently, Ryan Doll ruled Rule 6B with his 502 despite his team notching only a single win. WWJB leaps 1 spot in the standings to 7th place, while Rule 6B sinks 1 spot to 3rd.
Bowlers sneaking into The 200 Club include: Bob Brunker (208), Cory Chorpenning (217), Duncan Ferber (233), Ken M. Wilson (226), Rich Foster (228), Rob Kaszuba (201), and Ryan Doll (203)
A new personal high game was set tonight by Eric Summers (161, previous best 159). In addition, a new personal best series was rolled by Chris Lewis (515, previous best 502).
In this week's Tournament of Champions brackets: Ken M. Wilson whipped Division 1, while nobody claimed victory in Division 2 (though Ryan Doll came closest). Scott Murdock swept Division 3, and Ryan Housknecht staked a claim for the Iron Throne in Division 4. And, finally, nobody claimed victory in the Interdivisional bracket (though Ryan Doll and Chris Lewis (Division ) came closest). In terms of overall points: Carl Goetz leads Division 1; Angela Bradford and David Parre are both in the driver's seat (on each other's laps?) in Division 2 in a tie; Scott Murdock calls the shots for Division 3; and Deena Slinkard tops Division 4.

- Moving to lanes 21&22, 6th-place Chicks With Balls will throw some gutter balls with 7th-place WWJB (hcp 28). The Chicks might maintain their current strength as they just barely win the series; while WWJB ought to raise their average even as they avoid getting swept.

Wonder Friends might maintain their current strength as they lose the series but avoid getting swept; while Another Season ought to drop their average a bit even as they enjoy their victories.
- Finally, on lanes 27&28, 10th-place XXX (hcp 92) will face 1st-place Schlitz For Us, Splits For You. XXX is predicted to maintain their current strength as they get swept; while Schlitz is anticipated to hold steady as they rack up a sweep.
