The eleventh week of Spring 2009 saw three teams climb in the standings, while three teams slipped. One bowler set a new personal best series, and one rolled new personal high game. Angela Bradford picked up this week's high game (164) and series (455) for the women. As for the men, Duncan Ferber snagged this week's high game with a 233, and high series was earned by Ken M. Wilson with a 608. Read on for all the rest of the details!
First up, on lanes 19 & 20: Chicks With Balls sparred with Chico's Bail Bonds. Though reinforced by Janelle (Laube) Lamar with her above-average 439 series, the Chicks got swept by Chico's. Simultaneously, #1 Head-to-Head Ken M. Wilson laid down the law in Chico's with his dramatic 608 as they swept the competition. Chicks With Balls remains in 6th place, while Chico's move 1 spot to 2nd.
On lanes 21 & 22: XXX waged a heated competition against Capt. Awesome & Wonder Friends. Demonstrating the prowess of Tiffany Schmidt with her 320 series, XXX split the series with Wonder Friends. Countering this, Ryan Housknecht oversaw Wonder Friends with his above-average 433 as they matched their opponent in wins. XXX remains in 10th place, while Wonder Friends remain in 9th.
On lanes 23 & 24: Sh!t, Another Season shared a platter of cheese sticks with No Pinheads. With top billing by Duncan Ferber with his 559 series, Another Season collected 3 wins against No Pinheads. On the other half of the score sheet, Phil Schroeder reigned supreme in No Pinheads with his 476 despite his team notching only a single win. Sh!t, Another Season leaps 1 spot in the standings to 4th place, while No Pinheads sink 1 spot to 5th.
On lanes 25 & 26: Turkey Sandwich alternated between bowling and dry humping Schlitz For Us, Splits For You. Though featuring Jason Carpio with his below-average 485 series, Turkey Sandwich got swept by Schlitz. In the meantime, Scott Murdock, Bob Brunker guided Schlitz with their 493 (with kudos to Most Valuable Bowler Scott Murdock) as they swept the competition. Turkey Sandwich drops 1 spot in the standings to 8th place, while Schlitz remains in 1st.
Finally, down on lanes 27 & 28: WWJB spent a romantic evening with Rule 6B. Highlighting the skills of #1 Power-Ranked Rich Foster and his spectacular 500 series, WWJB collected 3 wins against Rule 6B. Conversely, Ryan Doll called the shots for Rule 6B with his 502 despite his team notching only a single win. WWJB leaps 1 spot in the standings to 7th place, while Rule 6B sinks 1 spot to 3rd.
Bowlers slipping into The 200 Club include: Bob Brunker (208), Cory Chorpenning (217), Duncan Ferber (233), Ken M. Wilson (226), Rich Foster (228), Rob Kaszuba (201), and Ryan Doll (203)
A new personal high game was set tonight by Eric Summers (161, previous best 159). In addition, a new personal best series was rolled by Chris Lewis (515, previous best 502).
In this week's Tournament of Champions brackets: Ken M. Wilson walloped Division 1, while nobody claimed victory in Division 2 (though Ryan Doll came closest). Scott Murdock made quick work of Division 3, and Ryan Housknecht whipped Division 4. And, finally, nobody claimed victory in the Interdivisional bracket (though Ryan Doll and Chris Lewis (Division ) came closest). In terms of overall points: Carl Goetz leads Division 1; Angela Bradford and David Parre reign over Division 2 in a tie; Scott Murdock is in the driver's seat in Division 3; and Deena Slinkard tops Division 4.

- Finally, on lanes 27&28, 10th-place XXX (hcp 92) will roll against 1st-place Schlitz For Us, Splits For You. XXX is predicted to maintain their current strength as they get swept; while Schlitz is anticipated to hold steady as they rack up a sweep.
