The tweltfh week of Spring 2009 saw three teams climb in the standings, while four teams slipped. Angela Bradford picked up this week's high game (220) and series (533) for the women. As for the men, Jason Carpio snagged this week's high game with a 237, and high series was earned by Carl Goetz with a 595. Read on for all the rest of the details!

First up, on lanes 19 & 20: Turkey Sandwich sparred with No Pinheads. In spite of the prowess of Jason Carpio with his above-average 572 series, Turkey Sandwich got swept by No Pinheads. Concurrently, Phil Schroeder laid down the law in No Pinheads with his phenomenal 550 as they swept the competition. Turkey Sandwich drops 1 spot in the standings to 9th place, while No Pinheads jump 2 spots to 3rd.

On lanes 21 & 22: Chicks With Balls waged a heated competition against WWJB. Despite the strength of Janelle (Laube) Lamar with her 421 series, the Chicks accomplished only 1 win against WWJB. Simultaneously, Rich Foster commanded WWJB with his terrific 445 as his team took the series with 3 wins. Chicks With Balls drop 1 spot in the standings to 7th place, while WWJB moves 1 spot to 6th.

On lanes 23 & 24: Chico's Bail Bonds did battle with Rule 6B. Highlighting the skills of #1 Head-to-Head Carl Goetz and his above-average 595 series, Chico's collected 3 wins against Rule 6B. In the midst of this, Ryan Doll shined in Rule 6B with his 506 despite his team notching only a single win. Chico's Bail Bonds remains in 2nd place, while Rule 6B sinks 1 spot to 4th.

On lanes 25 & 26: Capt. Awesome & Wonder Friends faced off against Sh!t, Another Season. Starring #1 Power-Ranked and Most Valuable Bowler Ryan Housknecht and his spectacular 489 series, Wonder Friends celebrated a clean sweep over Another Season. Meanwhile, Duncan Ferber guided Another Season with his 549 despite his team getting swept. Capt. Awesome & Wonder Friends leap 1 spot in the standings to 8th place, while Another Season sinks 1 spot to 5th.

Finally, down on lanes 27 & 28: XXX traded lane malfunctions with Schlitz For Us, Splits For You. Despite being led by Rich DeYoung with his below-average 450 series, XXX got swept by Schlitz. While that was going down, Angela Bradford called the shots for Schlitz with her above-average 533 as they swept the competition. XXX remains in 10th place, while Schlitz remains in 1st.

Bowlers who lied to their significant other claiming bowling was running long then went out for after-bowling drinks at The 200 Club include: Angela Bradford (220), Carl Goetz (208), Duncan Ferber (201), Freda Schroeder (215), Jason Carpio (237), and Ken M. Wilson (209)

In this week's Tournament of Champions brackets: Carl Goetz clobbered Division 1, while nobody claimed victory in Division 2 (though Angela Bradford came closest). Adam Messner won Division 3, and nobody claimed victory in Division 4 (though Rich Foster came closest). Finally, Phil Schroeder (Division 2) triumphed over his enemies in this week's Interdivisional bracket.Finally, Ryan Housknecht (Division 4) triumphed over his enemies in this week's Interdivisional bracket. In terms of overall points: Carl Goetz reigns over Division 1; Phil Schroeder leads Division 2; Adam Messner is in the driver's seat in Division 3; and Deena Slinkard holds the reins in Division 4.

• First, on lanes 19&20, 6th-place WWJB (hcp 16) will face 8th-place Capt. Awesome & Wonder Friends. WWJB is expected to perform well, but split the series with Wonder Friends; while Wonder Friends are forecast to raise their average while they keep the series tied.
• Moving to lanes 21&22, 4th-place Rule 6B will compete against 9th-place Turkey Sandwich (hcp 42). Rule 6B might maintain their current strength as they win the series; while Turkey Sandwich ought to hold steady as they avoid getting swept.
