The tweltfh week of Spring 2009 saw three teams climb in the standings, while four teams slipped. Angela Bradford picked up this week's high game (220) and series (533) for the women. As for the men, Jason Carpio snagged this week's high game with a 237, and high series was earned by Carl Goetz with a 595. Read on for all the rest of the details!

First up, on lanes 19 & 20: Turkey Sandwich shared a few beers with No Pinheads. Though featuring Jason Carpio with his above-average 572 series, Turkey Sandwich got swept by No Pinheads. Simultaneously, Phil Schroeder shined in No Pinheads with his terrific 550 as they swept the competition. Turkey Sandwich drops 1 spot in the standings to 9th place, while No Pinheads jump 2 spots to 3rd.

On lanes 21 & 22: Chicks With Balls alternated between bowling and dry humping WWJB. Notwithstanding the leadership of Janelle (Laube) Lamar with her 421 series, the Chicks accomplished only 1 win against WWJB. Concurrently, Rich Foster ruled WWJB with his staggering 445 as his team took the series with 3 wins. Chicks With Balls drop 1 spot in the standings to 7th place, while WWJB moves 1 spot to 6th.

On lanes 23 & 24: Chico's Bail Bonds kept stealing sips of beer from Rule 6B. Blessed by #1 Head-to-Head Carl Goetz and his above-average 595 series, Chico's collected 3 wins against Rule 6B. On the flipside, Ryan Doll oversaw Rule 6B with his 506 despite his team notching only a single win. Chico's Bail Bonds remains in 2nd place, while Rule 6B sinks 1 spot to 4th.

On lanes 25 & 26: Capt. Awesome & Wonder Friends waged a heated competition against Sh!t, Another Season. Demonstrating the prowess of #1 Power-Ranked and Most Valuable Bowler Ryan Housknecht and his thrilling 489 series, Wonder Friends celebrated a clean sweep over Another Season. While that was going down, Duncan Ferber drew the spotlight in Another Season with his 549 despite his team getting swept. Capt. Awesome & Wonder Friends leap 1 spot in the standings to 8th place, while Another Season sinks 1 spot to 5th.

Finally, down on lanes 27 & 28: XXX spent a romantic evening with Schlitz For Us, Splits For You. Regardless of the star power of Rich DeYoung with his below-average 450 series, XXX got swept by Schlitz. Meanwhile, Angela Bradford reigned supreme in Schlitz with her above-average 533 as they swept the competition. XXX remains in 10th place, while Schlitz remains in 1st.

In this week's Tournament of Champions brackets: Carl Goetz whipped Division 1, while nobody claimed victory in Division 2 (though Angela Bradford came closest). Adam Messner crushed Division 3, and nobody claimed victory in Division 4 (though Rich Foster came closest). Finally, Phil Schroeder (Division 2) clobbered this week's Interdivisional bracket.Finally, Ryan Housknecht (Division 4) clobbered this week's Interdivisional bracket. In terms of overall points: Carl Goetz reigns over Division 1; Phil Schroeder is in the driver's seat in Division 2; Adam Messner tops Division 3; and Deena Slinkard governs Division 4.

• First, on lanes 19&20, 6th-place WWJB (hcp 16) will battle 8th-place Capt. Awesome & Wonder Friends. WWJB is expected to perform well, but split the series with Wonder Friends; while Wonder Friends are forecast to raise their average while they keep the series tied.
• Moving to lanes 21&22, 4th-place Rule 6B will roll against 9th-place Turkey Sandwich (hcp 42). Rule 6B might maintain their current strength as they win the series; while Turkey Sandwich ought to hold steady as they avoid getting swept.
