The Spring 2009 season draws to a close, with Schlitz For Us, Splits For You officially earning this season's championship title! The final week saw one team climb in the standings, while one team slipped. One bowler set a new personal best series. Angela Bradford picked up this week's high game (192) and series (499) for the women, while Cory Chorpenning earned this week's high game (226) and series (570) for the men. Read on for all the rest of the details!
First up, on lanes 19 & 20: Schlitz For Us, Splits For You had a delightful time with Chico's Bail Bonds. With top billing by Bob Brunker with his 512 series, Schlitz collected 3 wins against Chico's. As for the opposition, Ken M. Wilson commanded Chico's with his 531 despite his team notching only a single win. Schlitz For Us, Splits For You end in 1st place, while Chico's wind up in 2nd.
On lanes 21 & 22: Rule 6B couldn't stop undressing with their eyes the members of No Pinheads. While headlined by Ryan Doll with his 490 series, with props to #1 Power-Ranked and Most Valuable Bowler Phil Schroeder, Rule 6B accomplished only 1 win against No Pinheads. In the midst of this, Most Valuable Bowler Phil Schroeder drew the spotlight in No Pinheads with his above-average 531 as his team took the series with 3 wins. Rule 6B complete in 3rd place, while No Pinheads cros the finish line in 4th.
On lanes 23 & 24: Sh!t, Another Season faced off against WWJB. Highlighting the skills of Cory Chorpenning with his 570 series, Another Season collected 3 wins against WWJB. On the adjacent lane, Rich Foster took the lead in WWJB with his stupendous 489 despite his team notching only a single win. Sh!t, Another Season close out in 5th place, while WWJB come out in 6th.
On lanes 25 & 26: Turkey Sandwich deliberately ate cheese sticks in front of Chicks With Balls. Led by Zach Frank with his 424 series, Turkey Sandwich collected 3 wins against the Chicks. On the flipside, Kelly Minihan oversaw the Chicks with her terrific 435 despite her team notching only a single win. Turkey Sandwich end the season in 7th place, while the Chicks end up with 8th.
Finally, down on lanes 27 & 28: Capt. Awesome & Wonder Friends traded lane malfunctions with XXX. Although blessed by Drew Eldridge with his above-average 440 series, Wonder Friends accomplished only 1 win against XXX. Countering this, Rich DeYoung showed off in XXX with his 488 as his team took the series with 3 wins. Capt. Awesome & Wonder Friends drop 1 spot in the standings to 10th place, while XXX moves 1 spot to 9th.

A new personal best series was rolled tonight by Ben Wetteborn (487, previous best 450).
After a hard fought season, the Tournament of Champions was won tonight by Phil Schroeder (Division 2), with landing in second place. Phil will pocket the nice first-place pot, while will take away the second-place pot. Congratulations!
