Spring 2009 Week 15 Robo-RecapA stagnated fifteenth week of Spring 2009 resulted in absolutely no movement in the standings. Two bowlers set a new personal best series, and three rolled new personal high games. Angela Bradford picked up this week's high game (210) and series (499) for the women. As for the men, Rob Kaszuba snagged this week's high game with a 230, and high series was earned by Rich DeYoung with a 592. On the other half of the score sheet, Duncan Ferber laid down the law in Another Season with his 549 despite his team getting swept. Capt. Awesome & Wonder Friends leap 1 spot in the standings to 8th place, while Another Season sinks 1 spot to 5th.

Finally, down on lanes 27 & 28: XXX kept stealing sips of beer from Schlitz For Us, Splits For You. Although topped by Rich DeYoung with his below-average 450 series, XXX got swept by Schlitz. Meanwhile, Angela Bradford ruled Schlitz with her above-average 533 as they swept the competition. XXX remains in 10th place, while Schlitz remains in 1st.

NEXT WEEK:

  • First, on lanes 19&20, 6th-place WWJB (hcp 16) will spend some quality time with 8th-place Capt. Awesome & Wonder Friends. WWJB is expected to perform well, but split the series with Wonder Friends; while Wonder Friends are forecast to raise their average while they keep the series tied.
  • Moving to lanes 21&22, 4th-place Rule 6B will throw some gutter balls with 9th-place Turkey Sandwich (hcp 42). Rule 6B might maintain their current strength as they win the series; while Turkey Sandwich ought to hold steady as they avoid getting swept.
  • Then, over on lanes 23&24, 1st-place Schlitz For Us, Splits For You will share a couple of pitchers with 7th-place Chicks With Balls (hcp 87). Schlitz will likely maintain their current strength as they win the series; while the Chicks will probably raise their average even as they avoid getting swept.
  • Next up, on lanes 25&26, 3rd-place No Pinheads will challenge 10th-place XXX (hcp 118). No Pinheads might maintain their current strength as they sweep the series; while XXX ought to hold steady as they endure a rough night.
  • Finally, on lanes 27&28, 5th-place Sh!t, Another Season (hcp 4) will battle 2nd-place Chico's Bail Bonds. Another Season is predicted to maintain their current strength as they get swept; while Chico's are anticipated to raise their average while they rack up a sweep.
*(Remember, the predicted results above are based on mathematical extrapolations and can be changed by all sorts of factors. If you don't like how your team's results are predicted, you and your teammates have the power to prove the math wrong!)
