The fourteenth week of Spring 2009 saw one team climb in the standings, while two teams slipped. Angela Bradford picked up this week's high game (223) and series (595) for the women. First up, on lanes 19 & 20: Chico's Bail Bonds kept stealing sips of beer from Schlitz For Us, Splits For You. Showcasing #1 Head-to-Head David Codding and his awe-inspiring 655 series, Chico's collected 3 wins against Schlitz. On the other half of the score sheet, #1 Power-Ranked Angela Bradford mastered Schlitz with her miraculous 595 despite her team notching only a single win. Chico's Bail Bonds remains in 2nd place, while Schlitz remains in 1st.

On lanes 21 & 22: Sh!t, Another Season traded lane malfunctions with XXX. Topped by Cory Chorpenning with his above-average 598 series, Another Season celebrated a clean sweep over XXX. Simultaneously, Rich DeYoung commanded XXX with his above-average 521 despite his team getting swept. Sh!t, Another Season remains in 5th place, while XXX remains in 10th.

On lanes 23 & 24: No Pinheads had some one-on-one time with Capt. Awesome & Wonder Friends. Starring Dennis Laube with his 493 series, No Pinheads collected 3 wins against Wonder Friends. . With Wonder Friends forfeiting, all No Pinheads needed to do was roll within 40 pins of their combined team average each game. However, that would not be the case. No Pinheads remains in 4th place, while Wonder Friends sink 1 spot to 9th.

On lanes 25 & 26: Rule 6B spent some quality time with Chicks With Balls. Headlined by Adam Messner with his above-average 460 series, Rule 6B celebrated a clean sweep over the Chicks. In the midst of this, Janelle (Laube) Lamar showed off in the Chicks with her above-average 457 despite her team getting swept. Rule 6B remains in 3rd place, while the Chicks sink 1 spot to 8th.

Finally, down on lanes 27 & 28: Turkey Sandwich matched wits with WWJB. With top billing by Jason Carpio with his above-average 607 series, Turkey Sandwich collected 3 wins against WWJB. On the other side, Most Valuable Bowler Rich Foster guided WWJB with his stupendous 490 despite his team notching only a single win. Turkey Sandwich leaps 2 spots in the standings to 7th place, while WWJB remains in 6th.

In this week's Tournament of Champions brackets: Nobody claimed victory in Division 1 (though David Codding came closest), while Rob Kaszuba dominated Division 2. Janelle (Laube) Lamar spanked Division 3, and Rich Foster rolled his ass to the top of Division 4. Finally, Cory Chorpenning (Division 1) creamed this week's Interdivisional bracket. In terms of overall points: Carl Goetz is in the driver's seat in Division 1; Phil Schroeder reigns over Division 2; Adam Messner governs Division 3; and Deena Slinkard leads Division 4.
