A listing (from most current to furthest back) of any write-up posts in which Brandon has been mentioned:
- Landslide at the Lanes (Nov 3rd, 2026) - The pins have been counted, the pundits have been silenced, and the future of Gutter Alley has been decided! Week 12 of Fall 2026 wasn't merely another night of bowling. It was a midterm election of epic proportions, with six political organizations taking their campaigns directly to the hardwood, four games' worth of votes being cast, and the fate of the league hanging in the balance. There were victories, humiliating defeats, and at least one team already questioning the legitimacy of the entire electoral process. JoAnne Barber captured the women's high game (158) and series (414), while Scott Murdock claimed the men's high game (195) and Matthew Taylor secured the men's high series (526). And, as always, the real winners were the voters... er, bowlers. The results are in, and you can check this week's bingo results to see whether Lady Luck was on your side!
- Possess My Balls: The Halloween Episode (Oct 27th, 2026) - The eleventh week of Fall 2026 has been an absolute nightmare, and not because of the bowling! I am Malachi Grimwhistle, an ancient and profoundly evil ghost with a magnificent plan to possess a mortal bowler, escape this wretched bowling alley, and unleash unspeakable chaos upon an unsuspecting world. Unfortunately, after a thorough inspection of every team, I have yet to find a suitable vessel for my wicked ambitions. Some bodies are too weak, others are too inconsistent, and a few seem perfectly capable of spreading misery without any supernatural assistance whatsoever. Even worse, the standings have remained as motionless as a room full of corpses! Still, there were bright spots in this miserable hunt for a host. JoAnne Barber claimed the women's high game with 152 and high series with 411, while Matthew Taylor terrorized the men's leaderboard with a 221 game and 614 series. The living may be celebrating, but I remain furious. Read on for the full details of my increasingly desperate search for a champion of darkness, and consult the bingo results before I possess the nearest available snack machine out of sheer frustration!
- Week 10 Roundup (Oct 20th, 2026) - Howdy, bowling pardners! Name's Buck McSpare, urban cowboy, professional livestock wrangler, and the only fool in Wyandotte County who answered the call when a herd of escaped cattle from last weekend's cow-ta-strophic cattle trailer crash decided to stampede through St. John's. I came expecting a few nervous steers, maybe a rogue heifer in the shoe area. Instead, I found bovines occupying the approaches, chewing on the score sheets, and treating the ball returns like their personal cattle chutes. And somewhere in this bovine chaos, folks were still bowling. A stagnated tenth week of Fall 2026 resulted in absolutely no movement in the standings, though several competitors made enough noise to frighten a whole pasture. JoAnne Barber roped this week's women's high game with a 172 and high series with 460, while Matthew Taylor corralled the men's high game with 199 and high series with 545. I'm Buck McSpare, and I reckon we're fixing to separate the cattle pens from the csattle pins. Hold onto your hats, because this roundup is going to get messy. And before you ride off into the sunset, check out this week's bingo results!
- ♫Everyone Knows it's Pindy (da-da-da-da-da)♫ (Oct 13th, 2026) - The ninth week of Fall 2026 delivered a bottom-of-the-standings reset, spectacular individual performances, and enough bowling drama to make the storm a few miles north look like a calm sunny day! One team climbed the standings while another slid backward to its usual next, proving that in Gutter Alley, gravity is not merely a force of nature; it is a competitive strategy. I'm Alotta Tenpin, your exuberant sideline reporter, and I've got the play-by-play on every triumph, heartbreak, and mysteriously disappearing pin. JoAnne Barber captured the woman's high game with 127 and high series with 345, while Dennis Walling blasted the men's high game with 214 and Jon Little claimed the men's high series with 537. Buckle up, bowlers, because this week's action is ready to roll! And don't forget to check out this week's bingo results!
- Underdogs Overdeliver (Oct 6th, 2026) - We are now halfway through the Fall 2026 season, which means the championship race has officially reached the stage where every team is either making a move, making excuses, or quietly wondering how there are still eight more weeks of this nonsense. Week 8 delivered one climb in the standings, one tumble, a pair of personal milestones, and enough hot bowling to make the pins consider filing for workers' compensation. I'm Alotta Tenpin, reporting from the sidelines with the latest developments, questionable analysis, and the solemn responsibility of making all of this sound much more dramatic than it probably was. JoAnne Barber captured the woman's high game with 165 and high series with 434, while Matthew Taylor led the men with a 202 game and 513 series. Jesse Sauerbrei established new personal bests in both game and series. So grab your score sheet, your lucky bowling socks, and possibly a snack for the emotional support portion of the evening, because Week 8 had plenty to talk about. And don't forget to check this week's bingo results.
- Bunch o' Bowlschmitt (Sep 29th, 2026) - Senator Eric Schmitt: "Mr. Smith, we're going to begin with a very simple fact. Week 7 of Fall 2026 resulted in absolutely no movement in the standings. Correct?"
Jack Smith: "That's what the standings show."
Schmitt: "Good. We're making progress already. Now, were you bowling on Lane 7?"
Smith: "No."
Schmitt: "That's interesting, because my information indicates there was a team called the Queenhawks on Lane 7."
Smith: "There is no Queenhawks team."
Schmitt: "So that's your testimony?"
Smith: "Yes."
Schmitt: "And you're saying Fani Willis wasn't there as a substitute?"
Smith: "I never said anything about Fani Willis."
Schmitt: "We'll come back to that."
Smith: "Thank you."
Schmitt: "I wasn't finished. JoAnne Barber picked up this week's women's high game and series with 121 and 353, while Jon Little exploded for the men's high game with 215 and high series with 493. David Schemenauer rolled a personal-best 192, Kevin Hodge rolled a personal-best 165, and absolutely nobody moved in the standings. So despite all this bowling, nobody went anywhere. Mr. Smith, I have questions about that. A lot of questions. And this week's bingo results are going to be part of the record."
- Three Excuses, But None Needed (Sep 22nd, 2026) - The sixth week of Fall 2026 brought a night of bowling drama, personal records, and a little movement in the standings! One team climbed a spot while another slipped, and the pins were flying as bowlers chased glory on the lanes. I'm Alotta Tenpin, reporting live from the snack bar, while in the next room the competition is heating up and the bowlers are making their mark! JoAnne Barber captured the women's high game with 137 and high series with 393, while Dennis Walling dominated the men's leaderboard with a 233 game and 582 series. Jesse Sauerbrei, Brandon Cook, and Todd Kasik rolled new personal-best games, while Brandon, Todd, and Kyle Weber celebrated personal-best series. Let's get to the action, and don't forget to check out this week's bingo results!
- Squids Surge, Rats Rise, BowlJobs Satisfy (Sep 15th, 2026) - The fifth week of Fall 2026 saw two teams climb in the standings, while three teams slipped. One bowler set a new personal best series, and one rolled new personal high game. JoAnne Barber picked up this week's high game (151) and series (399) for the women, while Matthew Taylor earned this week's high game (253) and series (680) for the men. Read on for all the rest of the details!
- BowlJobs Double Win Record! (Sep 8th, 2026) - A stagnant fourth week of Fall 2026 has arrived, and folks, the standings were so motionless I briefly checked to make sure somebody hadn't accidentally bolted the teams to the floor. I am Alotta Tenpin, reporting live from the sidelines, where the pins are standing tall, the balls are rolling somewhat randomly, and absolutely nobody is moving up or down the standings! JoAnne Barber captured the women's high game with 120 and high series with 350, while AJ Hofmann detonated his way to the men's high game of 192 and high series of 538. Meanwhile, the Tournament of Champions kicked off tonight, launching us into 13 weeks of one-on-one bowling excitement! And yes, there was also bingo, because apparently Tuesday night wasn't already providing enough drama. Read on for all the rest of the details!
- Double Nickels Deployed! Season 55 Kicks Off (Aug 18th, 2026) - The Fall 2026 season is officially underway, and six teams have now launched themselves into 16 weeks of bowling, bragging rights, and the pursuit of that most coveted of prizes: the completely nonexistent championship trophy. Hi, everyone! I'm Alotta Tenpin, your exuberant sideline reporter, and I can already tell you this season is going to be spectacular. One bowler blasted out a new personal-best league game, Lindsay Sargent claimed the women's high game with a 142, JoAnne Barber captured the women's high series with a 402, Dennis Walling detonated the men's high game with a 236, and Jon Little topped the men's series with a 568. In other words, Week 1 arrived quietly and then immediately threw the bowling equivalent of a folding chair through the window. Amid the action, don't miss this week's bingo results. Let's roll!
- Fall 2026 Preview (Aug 10th, 2026) - Welcome to the Fall 2026 bowling season! We start bowling on August 18, same location and same time as usual. You can submit roster changes and 5-man-team rotation schedule changes until Monday, August 17 and team names until noon Tuesday, August 18.
