Week 12 RoboHeaderThe twelfth week of Fall 2026 saw one team climb in the standings, while one team slipped. JoAnne Barber picked up this week's high game (158) and series (414) for the women. As for the men, Scott Murdock snagged this week's high game with a 195, and high series was earned by Matthew Taylor with a 526. Read on for all the rest of the details!

First up, on lanes 1 & 2: In a battle of good against evil, the foul scoundrels of Squid Row shared a platter of cheese sticks with the swashbucklers of BowlJobs. Propelled by the skills of Matthew Taylor with his 526 series, Squids collected 3 wins against BJs. In the meantime, Kurt Fredrickson with his better-than-normal 400 series dominated BJs despite his team notching only a single win. Squid Row remains in 1st place, while BJs remain in 6th.

week12On lanes 3 & 4: A well-matched pair of rivals gathered as One Woman, Three Excuses had a romantic candlelight dinner with Rat & Roll. In spite of the leadership of Chris Lenz with his above-average 420 series, Excuses accomplished only 1 win against Rats. Concurrently, Kevin Hodge with his 443 series called the shots for Rats (benefitted greatly by real star — trifecta-winner #1 Power-Ranked, #1 Head-to-Head, and Most Valuable Bowler Kyle Weber) as his team took the match with 3 wins. One Woman, Three Excuses drop 1 spot in the standings to 4th place, while Rats move up 1 spot to 3rd.

Finally, down on lanes 5 & 6: With the narrowest of handicaps, The Queenpins waged a heated competition against Fist My Bump . Although topped by Jon Little with his below-average 432 series, Queenpins got swept by Fist My Bump. Simultaneously, Scott Murdock with his better-than-normal 493 series commanded Fist My Bump as they swept the competition. The Queenpins remains in 5th place, while Fist My Bump remains in 2nd.

Bowlers lounging at The 200 Club include: No one at all. We sucked.

In this week's Tournament of Champions brackets: Dennis Walling won Division 1, while JoAnne Barber made quick work of Division 2. Brandon Cook cleaned up Division 3, and Kyle Weber decimated Division 4. In terms of overall points: Dennis Walling tops Division 1; Tim Deddens runs the show in Division 2; Brandon Cook dominates Division 3; and Jesse Sauerbrei reigns over Division 4.

NEXT WEEK:

  • First, on lanes 1&2, 2nd-place Fist My Bump  will compete against 3rd-place Rat & Roll (hcp 40). Fist My Bump is expected to roll a little low, yet still manage to win the series; while Rats are forecast to drop their average a bit while they avoid getting swept.
  • Moving to lanes 3&4, 5th-place The Queenpins (hcp 110) will challenge 1st-place Squid Row. Queenpins might roll a little low and get swept; while Squids ought to drop their average a bit even as they rack up a sweep.
  • Finally, on lanes 5&6, 6th-place BowlJobs will chill with 4th-place One Woman, Three Excuses (hcp 9). BJs are predicted to have a bit of an off night and get swept; while Excuses are anticipated to hold steady as they rack up a sweep.

*(Remember, the predicted results above are based on mathematical extrapolations and can be changed by all sorts of factors. If you don't like how your team's results are predicted, you and your teammates have the power to prove the math wrong!)
