After spending the majority of the season in second place - sometimes by a wide margin - Squid Row surged at the last possible moment to slide into 1st place and claim the championship! Overall Squid Row finished as the 84th strongest team in league history.

SEASON INDIVIDUAL AWARDS:

Women's High Series Scratch: JoAnne Barber (441)

Women's High Game Scratch: Lindsay Sargent (146)

Women's High Series Handicap: N/A due to insufficient females)

Men's High Series Scratch: Ian Estey (663)

Men's High Game Scratch: Dennis Walling (268)

Men's High Series Handicap: Jon Little (723)

Matthew Taylor is #1 Power ranked bowler, Scott Murdock is runner up.

Squid Row is #1 Power ranked team, Hot-n-Ready® is runner up.

Head to Head: Ben Spencer would have won 65.742% of all possible one-on-one matchups this season, (Ian Estey, comes in second at 63.455%.

The Ben Spencer Most-Improved Bowler Awards:

  • In Season: Mike Fitzgerald - Improved his average 13 pins between establishing his base average (after 12 games) and the end of the season.
  • Between Seasons: Seth Gunderson - Improved his average 19 pins since the end of his previous season.

The Tournament of Champions was won by Mike Fitzgerald, with Jon Little as runner-up.

This award should go to the one male bowler who continually shows the best example of good sportsmanship throughout the entire season.

Emily Podhajsky / Alison Radke Sportsmanship Award

This award should go to the one female bowler who continually shows the best example of good sportsmanship throughout the entire season.

Pat Searcy 'Life of the Party' Award

Named for a man whose exuberant personality made bowling nights more fun for all those around him. Given to the person who livens up Tuesday nights and brings a smile to all our faces.

SOME TRIVIA FACTS ABOUT THE SPRING 2026 SEASON:

    n Week 11 JoAnne Barber crossed 100,000 career pins, with Jeremy Varnell doing the same a few rolls later.

  • In week 6, Seth Gunderson rolled his 250th career 200+ game and now sits at 254.
  • Matthew Taylor's two 600+ series this season brought his total count to 61, landing him in 5th place in league history and possibly advancing to 4th next season if he can pass Aaron Barber's count of 63.
