The fourteenth week of Spring 2009 saw one team climb in the standings, while two teams slipped. Angela Bradford picked up this week's high game (223) and series (595) for the women. As for the men, Jason Carpio snagged this week's high game with a 232, and high series was earned by David Codding with a 655. Read on for all the rest of the details!

First up, on lanes 19 & 20: Chico's Bail Bonds deliberately ate cheese sticks in front of Schlitz For Us, Splits For You. Blessed by #1 Head-to-Head David Codding and his astonishing 655 series, Chico's collected 3 wins against Schlitz. In the midst of this, #1 Power-Ranked Angela Bradford reigned supreme in Schlitz with her wondrous 595 despite her team notching only a single win. Chico's Bail Bonds remains in 2nd place, while Schlitz remains in 1st.

On lanes 21 & 22: Sh!t, Another Season chucked gutter balls with XXX. Reinforced by Cory Chorpenning with his above-average 598 series, Another Season celebrated a clean sweep over XXX. In the meantime, Rich DeYoung showed off in XXX with his above-average 521 despite his team getting swept. Sh!t, Another Season remains in 5th place, while XXX remains in 10th.

On lanes 23 & 24: No Pinheads tussled with Capt. Awesome & Wonder Friends. Headlined by Dennis Laube with his 493 series, No Pinheads collected 3 wins against Wonder Friends. . With Wonder Friends forfeiting, all No Pinheads needed to do was roll within 40 pins of their combined team average each game. However, that would not be the case. No Pinheads remains in 4th place, while Wonder Friends sink 1 spot to 9th.

On lanes 25 & 26: Rule 6B spent a romantic evening with Chicks With Balls. Featuring Adam Messner with his above-average 460 series, Rule 6B celebrated a clean sweep over the Chicks. Concurrently, Janelle (Laube) Lamar commanded the Chicks with her above-average 457 despite her team getting swept. Rule 6B remains in 3rd place, while the Chicks sink 1 spot to 8th.

Finally, down on lanes 27 & 28: Turkey Sandwich sparred with WWJB. With the strength of Jason Carpio with his above-average 607 series, Turkey Sandwich collected 3 wins against WWJB. On the other half of the score sheet, Most Valuable Bowler Rich Foster called the shots for WWJB with his marvelous 490 despite his team notching only a single win. Turkey Sandwich leaps 2 spots in the standings to 7th place, while WWJB remains in 6th.

In this week's Tournament of Champions brackets: Nobody claimed victory in Division 1 (though David Codding came closest), while Rob Kaszuba spanked Division 2. Janelle (Laube) Lamar creamed Division 3, and Rich Foster topped Division 4. Finally, Cory Chorpenning (Division 1) routed this week's Interdivisional bracket. In terms of overall points: Carl Goetz leads Division 1; Phil Schroeder reigns over Division 2; Adam Messner governs Division 3; and Deena Slinkard is in the driver's seat in Division 4.
