Spring 2008 Week 16 Robo-RecapThe Spring 2008 season draws to a close, with Bad Newz Kennels officially earning this season's championship title! The final week saw one team climb in the standings, while one team slipped. Freda Schroeder picked up this week's high game (202) and series (550) for the women, while Duncan Ferber earned this week's high game (234) and series (604) for the men. Read on for all the rest of the details!

First up, on lanes 19 & 20: Bad Newz Kennels spent some quality time with You Don't Know Sh!t. With top billing by #1 Power-Ranked Aubrey Moren and his dazzling 562 series, with props to #1 Power-Ranked and Most Valuable Bowler Jason Garcia, the Kennels collected 3 wins against Don't Know Sh!t. On the adjacent lane, Duncan Ferber ruled Don't Know Sh!t with his above-average 604 despite his team notching only a single win. Bad Newz Kennels end in 1st place, while Don't Know Sh!t sinks 1 spot to end up with 3rd.

week16On lanes 21 & 22: 3 Dudes and a Doll alternated between bowling and dry humping ?. With the strength of Chris Rigdon with his 542 series, with kudos to Most Valuable Bowler Jason Garcia, 3 Dudes and a Doll collected 3 wins against ?. Concurrently, John Coleman commanded ? with his above-average 549 despite his team notching only a single win. 3 Dudes and a Doll leaps 1 spot in the standings to end the season in 2nd place, while ? cross the finish line in 4th.

On lanes 23 & 24: Ebowla kept grabbing the balls of Dr. Strangelanes, Or How I Learned To Stop Opening And Earn The Belt. Although blessed by Travis Kleiner with his below-average 410 series, Ebowla accomplished only 1 win against Dr. Strangelanes. Countering this, Seth Gunderson dominated Dr. Strangelanes with his 508 as his team took the series with 3 wins. Ebowla finish in 5th place, while Dr. Strangelanes come out in 6th.

On lanes 25 & 26: It's Britney, Bitch did battle with Sofa King Good. Showcasing Jeff Unseld with his below-average 376 series, Britney split the series with Sofa King. Simultaneously, Don Glasscock shined in Sofa King with his below-average 578 as they matched their opponent in wins. It's Britney, Bitch complete in 7th place, while Sofa King go home with 8th.

Finally, down on lanes 27 & 28: Dios Mios celebrated their love of large, heavy balls with Split Happens. With Dios Mios forfeiting, all Split Happens needed to do was roll within 40 pins of their combined team average each game. However, that would not be the case. . But Split Happens also forfeited, making this entire matchup a waste of time to have written about. Dios Mios 9th place, while Split Happens 10th.

After a hard fought season, the Tournament of Champions was won tonight by Aubrey Moren (Division 4), with John Richardson (Division 3) landing in second place. Aubrey will pocket the nice first-place pot, while John will take away the second-place pot. Congratulations!
