Spring 2007 Week 16 Robo-RecapThe Spring 2007 season draws to a close, with Guttersluts officially earning this season's championship title! The final week saw three teams climb in the standings, while three teams slipped. One bowler set a new personal best series. Angela Bradford picked up this week's high game (189) and series (527) for the women. As for the men, Duncan Ferber snagged this week's high game with a 225, and high series was earned by Bill Krejci with a 621. Read on for all the rest of the details!

First up, on lanes 15 & 16: Guttersluts had a rendezvous with Oily Balls. With the strength of #1 Head-to-Head Bill Krejci and his thrilling 621 series, Guttersluts collected 3 wins against Oily Balls. Concurrently, Pat Searcy took the lead in Oily Balls with his 575 despite his team notching only a single win. Guttersluts end in 1st place, while Oily Balls go home with 2nd.

week16On lanes 17 & 18: X9XX waged a heated competition against Unstoppabowl. Regardless of the star power of Stefan Miller with his above-average 546 series, X9XX accomplished only 1 win against Unstoppabowl. Simultaneously, Cory Chorpenning showed off in Unstoppabowl with his below-average 510 as his team took the series with 3 wins. X9XX drops 1 spot in the standings to close out in 4th place, while Unstoppabowl moves 1 spot to wind up in 3rd.

On lanes 19 & 20: Doll's Balls entered a showdown to the death with Those 4 Bowlers. Demonstrating the prowess of Ryan Doll with his above-average 562 series, Doll's Balls collected 3 wins against 4 Bowlers. Conversely, Seth Gunderson laid down the law in 4 Bowlers with his above-average 586 despite his team notching only a single win. Doll's Balls end the season in 5th place, while 4 Bowlers sink 1 spot to end up with 7th.

On lanes 21 & 22: King Pins alternated between bowling and dry humping Frickin' Ten Pin. Headlined by John Coleman with his 569 series, King Pins collected 3 wins against Ten Pin. On the other side, Carl Goetz called the shots for Ten Pin with his below-average 530 despite his team notching only a single win. King Pins leap 1 spot in the standings to finish in 6th place, while Ten Pin come out in 8th.

Finally, down on lanes 23 & 24: Churn and Burn took turns kicking the ball return with T.B.D.. Though reinforced by James Cholke with his above-average 508 series, Churn and Burn got swept by T.B.D.. As for the opposition, #1 Power-Ranked and Most Valuable Bowler Tyler Hilker commanded T.B.D. with his miraculous 535 as they swept the competition. Churn and Burn drops 1 spot in the standings to 10th place, while T.B.D. moves 1 spot to 9th.

A new personal best series was rolled tonight by Bill Krejci (621, previous best 595).


After a hard fought season, the Tournament of Champions was won tonight by Stefan Miller (Division 2), with Kendall Kukowski (Division 4) landing in second place. Stefan will pocket the nice first-place pot, while Kendall will take away the second-place pot. Congratulations!
