Fall 2006 Week 3 Robo-RecapThe third week of Fall 2006 saw three teams climb in the standings, while four teams slipped. One bowler roll a new personal best game. Angela Bradford picked up this week's high game (190) and series (441) for the women, while David Codding earned this week's high game (243) and series (636) for the men. And the Tournament of Champions divisions are now set, ready for one-on-one action to begin next week! Read on for all the rest of the details!

First up, on lanes 15 & 16: All Belts Are Off spent some quality time with Frickin' Ten Pins. With the strength of David Codding with his above-average 636 series, with kudos to #1 Power-Ranked and Most Valuable Bowler Scott Murdock as well as #1 Head-to-Head , the Belt celebrated a clean sweep over Frickin' Ten Pins. Simultaneously, Carl Goetz, John Richardson shined in Frickin' Ten Pins with their 499 despite their team getting swept. All Belts Are Off leaps 2 spots in the standings to 1st place, while Frickin' Ten Pins sink 1 spot to 7th.

week3On lanes 17 & 18: I Can't Believe It's Not Gutter deliberately ate cheese sticks in front of Bowlkake2. Showcasing Ryan Doll with his 493 series, Not Gutter celebrated a clean sweep over Bowlkake2. Concurrently, Dennis Laube ruled Bowlkake2 with his above-average 538 despite his team getting swept. I Can't Believe It's Not Gutter leaps 2 spots in the standings to 5th place, while Bowlkake2 sinks 1 spot to 6th.

On lanes 19 & 20: Split Happens chucked gutter balls with New Balls, Old Rack. Topped by Nick Allegri with his below-average 501 series, Split Happens collected 3 wins against the Old Rack. As for the opposition, Ken M. Wilson laid down the law in the Old Rack with his above-average 578 despite his team notching only a single win. Split Happens remains in 2nd place, while the Old Rack plunges 2 spots to 3rd.

On lanes 21 & 22: Hez-Bowl-lah kept stealing sips of beer from Guttersluts. Featuring #1 Head-to-Head Nik Domann and his above-average 519 series, Hez-Bowl-lah collected 3 wins against the Guttersluts. Across the ball return, Kris Hiestand mastered the Guttersluts with his 339 despite his team notching only a single win. Hez-Bowl-lah remains in 4th place, while the Guttersluts sink 1 spot to 9th.

Finally, down on lanes 23 & 24: TBD kept grabbing the balls of Manute Bowl. Despite being led by Jason Caton with his above-average 411 series, TBD accomplished only 1 win against Manute Bowl. While that was going down, Travis Kleiner showed off in Manute Bowl with his dramatic 405 as his team took the series with 3 wins. TBD remains in 10th place, while Manute Bowl moves 1 spot to 8th.

Bowlers ducking past the bouncer at The 200 Club include: David Codding (243,213), Dennis Laube (208), Ken M. Wilson (211), and Pat Searcy (200)

A new personal high game was set tonight by Aaron Hoyt (197, previous best 182).

NEXT WEEK:
  • First, on lanes 15&16, 5th-place I Can't Believe It's Not Gutter (hcp 132) will hang out with 3rd-place New Balls, Old Rack. Not Gutter is expected to perform well, yet still manage to lose the series but avoid getting swept; while the Old Rack is forecast to hold steady as they enjoy their victories.
  • Moving to lanes 17&18, 7th-place Frickin' Ten Pins will throw some gutter balls with 4th-place Hez-Bowl-lah (hcp 4). Frickin' Ten Pins might maintain their current strength as they and split the series with Hez-Bowl-lah; while Hez-Bowl-lah ought to raise their average while they keep the series tied.
  • Then, over on lanes 19&20, 1st-place All Belts Are Off will roll against 8th-place Manute Bowl (hcp 146). The Belt will likely maintain their current strength as they sweep the series; while Manute Bowl will probably hold steady as they endure a rough night.
  • Next up, on lanes 21&22, 6th-place Bowlkake2 will chuck some balls with 10th-place TBD (estimated hcp 78). Bowlkake2 might roll a little low and lose the series but avoid getting swept; while TBD ought to raise their average while they enjoy their victories.
  • Finally, on lanes 23&24, 2nd-place Split Happens will battle 9th-place Guttersluts (hcp 87). Split Happens are predicted to perform well and win the series; while the Guttersluts are anticipated to hold steady as they avoid getting swept.
*(Remember, the predicted results above are based on mathematical extrapolations and can be changed by all sorts of factors. If you don't like how your team's results are predicted, you and your teammates have the power to prove the math wrong!)
