Week 3 RoboHeaderThe third week of Fall 2026 saw three teams climb in the standings, while two teams slipped. JoAnne Barber picked up this week's high game (149) and series (385) for the women, while Jon Little earned this week's high game (212) and series (579) for the men. And the Tournament of Champions divisions are now set, ready for one-on-one action to begin next week! Read on for all the rest of the details!

First up, on lanes 1 & 2: In a fairly closely-matched lineup One Woman, Three Excuses accepted a challenge by BowlJobs. Charging into the fray behind Most Valuable Bowler Nathan Burrows and his spectacular 388 series, Excuses landed a clean sweep over BJs. Moving on to the challengers, Carl Mueller with his 348 series laid down the law for BJs despite his team getting swept. One Woman, Three Excuses climb 1 spot in the standings to 3rd place, while BJs remain in 6th.

week3On lanes 3 & 4: A well-matched pair of rivals gathered as Rat & Roll had a delightful time with Fist My Bump . Despite being led by Ian Estey with his 504 series, Rats got swept by Fist My Bump. Across the ball return, #1 Power Ranked and #1 Head-to-Head Scott Murdock and his dramatic 529 series drew the spotlight of Fist My Bump as they swept the competition. Rat & Roll plummets 2 spots in the standings to 5th place, while Fist My Bump moves up 1 spot to 1st.

Finally, down on lanes 5 & 6: Squid Row deliberately ate cheese sticks in front of The Queenpins. With extra motivation generated by Ben Spencer with his 543 series, Squids collected 3 wins against Queenpins. On the flipside, Jon Little with his better-than-normal 579 series shone in Queenpins despite his team notching only a single win. Squid Row drops 1 spot in the standings to 2nd place, while Queenpins move up 1 spot to 4th.

TOURNAMENT PLAY BEGINS NEXT WEEK!

NEXT WEEK:

  • First, on lanes 1&2, 5th-place Rat & Roll (hcp 144) will test their mettle against 2nd-place Squid Row. Rats are expected to maintain their current strength as they lose the series but avoid getting swept; while Squids are forecast to hold steady as they enjoy their victories.
  • Moving to lanes 3&4, 4th-place The Queenpins will roll against 6th-place BowlJobs (hcp 60). Queenpins might maintain their current strength as they sweep the series; while BJs ought to hold steady as they endure a rough night.
  • Finally, on lanes 5&6, 3rd-place One Woman, Three Excuses (hcp 66) will face 1st-place Fist My Bump . Excuses are predicted to roll decently and win the series; while Fist My Bump is anticipated to drop their average a bit while they avoid getting swept.

*(Remember, the predicted results above are based on mathematical extrapolations and can be changed by all sorts of factors. If you don't like how your team's results are predicted, you and your teammates have the power to prove the math wrong!)
