Spring 2008 Week 2 Robo-RecapThe second week of Spring 2008 saw four teams climb in the standings, while four teams slipped. Two bowlers set a new personal best series, and one rolled new personal high game. Angela Bradford landed this week's high game for the women with a 223, and women's high series was bagged by Freda Schroeder with a 539. As for the men, Don Glasscock earned this week's high game (247) and series (667). Read on for all the rest of the details!

First up, on lanes 19 & 20: Split Happens alternated between bowling and dry humping You Don't Know Sh!t. Led by Ryan Simonet with his 434 series, Split Happens split the series with Don't Know Sh!t. In the midst of this, Cory Chorpenning reigned supreme in Don't Know Sh!t with his 574 as they matched their opponent in wins. Split Happens remains in 7th place, while Don't Know Sh!t plunges 3 spots to 4th.

week2On lanes 21 & 22: Ebowla took turns kicking the ball return with 3 Dudes and a Doll. Even though highlighted by the skills of Travis Kleiner with his amazing 497 series, Ebowla got swept by 3 Dudes and a Doll. While that was going down, #1 Head-to-Head Ryan Doll guided 3 Dudes and a Doll with his 604 as they swept the competition. Ebowla plummets 2 spots in the standings to 10th place, while 3 Dudes and a Doll jumps 2 spots to 2nd.

On lanes 23 & 24: Sofa King Good alternated splits with Dr. Strangelanes, Or How I Learned To Stop Opening And Earn The Belt. With top billing by Don Glasscock with his above-average 667 series, Sofa King collected 3 wins against Dr. Strangelanes. On the flipside, Seth Gunderson drew the spotlight in Dr. Strangelanes with his miraculous 655 despite his team notching only a single win. Sofa King Good drops 1 spot in the standings to 3rd place, while Dr. Strangelanes remain in 5th.

On lanes 25 & 26: It's Britney, Bitch tussled with ?. Despite the strength of Jeff Unseld with his thrilling 382 series, Britney accomplished only 1 win against ?. On the other half of the score sheet, John Coleman took the lead in ? with his 484 (with kudos to Most Valuable Bowler Rob Kaszuba) as his team took the series with 3 wins. It's Britney, Bitch leaps 2 spots in the standings to 8th place, while ? jumps 3 spots to 6th.

Finally, down on lanes 27 & 28: Bad Newz Kennels had a delightful time with Dios Mios. Demonstrating the prowess of #1 Power-Ranked Dennis Laube and his astounding 565 series, the Kennels celebrated a clean sweep over Dios Mios. As for the opposition, Bill Krejci shined in Dios Mios with his below-average 570 despite his team getting swept. Bad Newz Kennels leap 2 spots in the standings to 1st place, while Dios Mios plunge 3 spots to 9th.

A new personal high game was set tonight by Dennis Laube (243, previous best 233). In addition, new personal best series were rolled by Seth Gunderson (655, previous best 620) and Travis Kleiner (497, previous best 486).

Angela Bradford earned this season's women's high game with her 223, and Freda Schroeder claimed the season's women's high series with her 539. In addition,, while Don Glasscock bagged the season's men's high series with his 667.

The 223 rolled by Angela Bradford is the new 8th-best women's game in league history!

NEXT WEEK:
  • First, on lanes 19&20, 9th-place Dios Mios will tussle with 8th-place It's Britney, Bitch (hcp 116). Dios Mios are expected to roll a little low, but split the series with Britney; while Britney is forecast to raise their average while they keep the series tied.
  • Moving to lanes 21&22, 5th-place Dr. Strangelanes, Or How I Learned To Stop Opening And Earn The Belt will socialize with 1st-place Bad Newz Kennels (hcp 43). Dr. Strangelanes might maintain their current strength as they win the series; while the Kennels ought to hold steady as they avoid getting swept.
  • Then, over on lanes 23&24, 6th-place ? (hcp 23) will battle 10th-place Ebowla. ? will likely roll decently, but split the series with Ebowla; while Ebowla will probably hold steady as they keep the series tied.
  • Next up, on lanes 25&26, 4th-place You Don't Know Sh!t will roll against 3rd-place Sofa King Good (hcp 45). Don't Know Sh!t might roll a little low and lose the series but avoid getting swept; while Sofa King ought to hold steady as they enjoy their victories.
  • Finally, on lanes 27&28, 2nd-place 3 Dudes and a Doll will meet with 7th-place Split Happens (hcp 67). 3 Dudes and a Doll is predicted to maintain their current strength as they and split the series with Split Happens; while Split Happens are anticipated to hold steady as they keep the series tied.
