Fall 2007 Week 2 Robo-RecapThe second week of Fall 2007 saw three teams climb in the standings, while six teams slipped. One bowler set a new personal best series, and two rolled new personal high games. Freda Schroeder and Jennifer Seefeldt both tied for this week's high game for the women with a 168, and women's high series was bagged by Freda Schroeder with a 492. As for the men, Ryan Doll snagged this week's high game with a 267, and high series was earned by Don Glasscock with a 711. Read on for all the rest of the details!

First up, on lanes 19 & 20: The GameCox shared a platter of cheese sticks with Bad Newz Kennels. While headlined by Jason Carpio with his 477 series, the GameCox accomplished only 1 win against the Kennels. Meanwhile, Carl Goetz ruled the Kennels with his below-average 520 as his team took the series with 3 wins. The GameCox drops 1 spot in the standings to 6th place, while the Kennels remain in 3rd.

week2On lanes 21 & 22: Seefeldt the Glasscock celebrated their love of large, heavy balls with Ebowla. With top billing by #1 Head-to-Head Don Glasscock and his astonishing 711 series, the Glasscock celebrated a clean sweep over Ebowla. On the other half of the score sheet, Travis Kleiner oversaw Ebowla with his 381 despite his team getting swept. Seefeldt the Glasscock leaps 1 spot in the standings to 1st place, while Ebowla sinks 1 spot to 10th.

On lanes 23 & 24: Seriously Handicapped chucked gutter balls with Your Mom. Notwithstanding the leadership of Tyler Hilker with his above-average 598 series, the Handicapped got swept by Your Mom. On the adjacent lane, #1 Power-Ranked and Most Valuable Bowler Ryan Doll reigned supreme in Your Mom with his wondrous 646 as they swept the competition. Seriously Handicapped drops 1 spot in the standings to 9th place, while Your Mom jumps 3 spots to 7th.

On lanes 25 & 26: Sh!t, I Don't Know had a delightful time with Dios Mios. Though featuring Duncan Ferber with his stunning 624 series, I Don't Know accomplished only 1 win against Dios Mios. In the midst of this, Steve Kiernan took the lead in Dios Mios with his above-average 560 as his team took the series with 3 wins. Sh!t, I Don't Know drops 1 spot in the standings to 5th place, while Dios Mios sink 1 spot to 2nd.

Finally, down on lanes 27 & 28: Split Happens alternated between bowling and dry humping Cannonbelt Run. Although topped by Nick Allegri with his amazing 553 series, Split Happens accomplished only 1 win against Cannonbelt. On the flipside, Scott Murdock mastered Cannonbelt with his above-average 482 as his team took the series with 3 wins. Split Happens drop 1 spot in the standings to 8th place, while Cannonbelt jumps 2 spots to 4th.

Bowlers who lied to their significant other claiming bowling was running long then went out for after-bowling drinks at The 200 Club include: Bill Krejci (235), Brian Eye (234), Don Glasscock (210,265,236), Duncan Ferber (226,220), Nick Allegri (222), Phil Schroeder (215), Ryan Doll (267), Steve Kiernan (217), and Tyler Hilker (202,215)


New personal high games were set tonight by Ryan Doll (267, previous best 237) and Shaun Crockett (193, previous best 160). In addition, a new personal best series was rolled by Shaun Crockett (449, previous best 433).

Freda Schroeder claimed the season's women's high series with her 492. In addition, Ryan Doll nabbed this season's men's high game with his 267. Don Glasscock bagged the season's men's high series with his 711.

The 267 rolled by Ryan Doll is tied for the 6th-best game in league history!
