The Spring 2006 season draws to a close, with I'm Gonna Belt Ya, Sucka! officially earning this season's championship title! A stagnated final week resulted in absolutely no movement in the standings. Freda Schroeder picked up this week's high game (164) and series (453) for the women, while Pat Searcy earned this week's high game (241) and series (648) for the men. First up, on lanes 21 & 22: I'm Gonna Belt Ya, Sucka! traded lane malfunctions with Bowl Movement. Reinforced by #1 Power Ranked and #1 Head-to-Head Pat Searcy and his above-average 648 series, the Belt split the series with Bowl Movement. Meanwhile, David Codding reigned supreme in Bowl Movement with his 574 as they matched their opponent in wins. I'm Gonna Belt Ya, Sucka! finish in 1st place, while Bowl Movement come out in 2nd.
On lanes 23 & 24: Bora Bora celebrated their love of large, heavy balls with Sweeter Than Yoohoo. Headlined by Dennis Laube with his above-average 555 series, Bora Bora split the series with Yoohoo. In the meantime, Thomas Lin ruled Yoohoo with his 565 as they matched their opponent in wins. Bora Bora close out in 3rd place, while Yoohoo end up with 4th.
On lanes 25 & 26: Split Happens deliberately ate cheese sticks in front of Guttersluts. Despite being led by James Long with his below-average 471 series, Split Happens accomplished only 1 win against Guttersluts. Concurrently, Dana Babler took the lead in Guttersluts with her staggering 411 as her team took the series with 3 wins. Split Happens complete in 5th place, while Guttersluts cros the finish line in 6th.
Finally, down on lanes 27 & 28: Yo Mama tussled with Tatonka. Starring Most Valuable Bowler Jason Caton and his remarkable 510 series, Yo Mama celebrated a clean sweep over Tatonka. On the flipside, Will Jeter mastered Tatonka with his above-average 480 despite his team getting swept. Yo Mama end the season in 7th place, while Tatonka go home with 8th.
