The Spring 2006 season is now underway, with eight teams entering the 16-week competition for the coveted, nonexistent championship trophy. Freda Schroeder picked up this week's high game (173) and series (501) for the women. As for the men, Ken M. Wilson snagged this week's high game with a 226, and high series was earned by Carl Goetz with a 620. Read on for all the rest of the details!
First up, on lanes 21 & 22: Bowl Movement couldn't stop undressing with their eyes the members of Yo Mama. With the strength of #1 Power Ranked and #1 Head-to-Head Carl Goetz and his 620 series, Bowl Movement collected 3 wins against Yo Mama. On the other side, Andy Metzler showed off in Yo Mama with his 471 despite his team notching only a single win. Bowl Movement gets underway in 2nd place, while Yo Mama starts off with 6th.
On lanes 23 & 24: Tatonka alternated between bowling and dry humping Split Happens. In spite of the prowess of Andy McLeod with his remarkable 461 series, Tatonka accomplished only 1 win against Split Happens. In the midst of this, James Long guided Split Happens with his 519 (with kudos to Most Valuable Bowler Amy Logan) as his team took the series with 3 wins. Tatonka starts out in 7th place, while Split Happens commence the season with 3rd.
On lanes 25 & 26: I'm Gonna Belt Ya, Sucka! spent some quality time with Guttersluts. Showcasing Pat Searcy with his 524 series, the Belt celebrated a clean sweep over Guttersluts. On the adjacent lane, Erin deVries ruled Guttersluts with her 301 despite her team getting swept. I'm Gonna Belt Ya, Sucka! begins the season in 1st place, while Guttersluts begin in 8th.
Finally, down on lanes 27 & 28: Sweeter Than Yoohoo did battle with Bora Bora. With top billing by Thomas Lin with his 518 series, Yoohoo split the series with Bora Bora. Concurrently, Dennis Laube reigned supreme in Bora Bora with his 588 as they matched their opponent in wins. Sweeter Than Yoohoo leaves the gate in 5th place, while Bora Bora gets going with 4th.
