The Fall 2005 season is now underway, with eight teams entering the 16-week competition for the coveted, nonexistent championship trophy. Two bowlers set a new personal best series, and three rolled new personal high games. Tracy Rychlewski landed this week's high game for the women with a 183, and women's high series was bagged by Freda Schroeder with a 484. As for the men, Ken M. Wilson earned this week's high game (238) and series (642). Read on for all the rest of the details!
First up, on lanes 19 & 20: Same Belt, New Notch traded lane malfunctions with Three Men and a Babe. Demonstrating the prowess of Carl Goetz with his 541 series, the Belt split the series with Three Men and a Babe. Simultaneously, #1 Power Ranked and #1 Head-to-Head Ken M. Wilson mastered Three Men and a Babe with his phenomenal 642 as they matched their opponent in wins. Same Belt, New Notch gets underway in 3rd place, while Three Men and a Babe gets going with 4th.
On lanes 21 & 22: Tatonka accepted a challenge by Bora Bora!. With top billing by Will Jeter with his 437 series, Tatonka split the series with Bora Bora!. Across the ball return, Freda Schroeder drew the spotlight in Bora Bora! with her 484 as they matched their opponent in wins. Tatonka begins with 6th place, while Bora Bora! starts off with 5th.
On lanes 23 & 24: The Big LeBowlskies deliberately ate cheese sticks in front of Derka, Derka. Regardless of the star power of Dennis Laube with his 455 series, The Big LeBowlskies accomplished only 1 win against Derka, Derka. Conversely, Rich DeYoung ruled Derka, Derka with his 539 as his team took the series with 3 wins. The Big LeBowlskies starts out in 8th place, while Derka, Derka commences the season with 1st.
Finally, down on lanes 25 & 26: Munson'd took turns kicking the ball return with Harry Potter and the Magic Balls. Despite the strength of Thomas Fowler with his 423 series, Munson'd accomplished only 1 win against Harry Potter. Concurrently, Andy Metzler laid down the law in Harry Potter with his exceptional 543 as his team took the series with 3 wins. Munson'd begins the season in 7th place, while Harry Potter begins in 2nd.
