The Spring 2005 season is now underway, with eight teams entering the 16-week competition for the coveted, nonexistent championship trophy. One bowler set a new personal best series. Deena Slinkard landed this week's high game for the women with a 170, and women's high series was bagged by Angela Bradford with a 463. As for the men, Pat Searcy earned this week's high game (214) and series (578). Read on for all the rest of the details!
First up, on lanes 19 & 20: All Belt, No Buckle had a delightful time with Nellielocks and the 3 Spares. Blessed by Demond Robinson with his 512 series, the Belt collected 3 wins against Nellielocks. On the flipside, Dennis Laube took the lead in Nellielocks with his 503 despite his team notching only a single win. All Belt, No Buckle begins the season in 1st place, while Nellielocks start off with 6th.
On lanes 21 & 22: 4 Play had a rendezvous with Bowlingstar Galactica. Featuring Pat Searcy with his 578 series, 4 Play split the series with the Galactica. Conversely, #1 Head-to-Head Eric Lynch guided the Galactica with his terrific 560 as they matched their opponent in wins. 4 Play leaves the gate in 4th place, while the Galactica gets rolling in 5th.
On lanes 23 & 24: Handicrappers alternated between bowling and dry humping The Incredibowls. Though reinforced by Bill Krejci with his 523 series, Handicrappers accomplished only 1 win against The Incredibowls. On the other side, Carl Goetz reigned supreme in The Incredibowls with his 512 as his team took the series with 3 wins. Handicrappers gets underway in 7th place, while The Incredibowls begin in 2nd.
Finally, down on lanes 25 & 26: Sub Parre took turns kicking the ball return with Big Pin Pin. Even though highlighted by the skills of David Parre with his 430 series, Sub Parre accomplished only 1 win against Pin Pin. While that was going down, #1 Power-Ranked Mitch Wheeler called the shots for Pin Pin with his 565 as his team took the series with 3 wins. Sub Parre begins with 8th place, while Pin Pin commences the season with 3rd.
