The eleventh week of Spring 2003 saw one team climb in the standings, while two teams slipped. Three bowlers set a new personal best series, and one rolled new personal high game. Marca Robinson picked up this week's high game (140) and series (383) for the women. As for the men, Carl Goetz snagged this week's high game with a 217, and high series was earned by Jarrod Guthrie with a 604. Read on for all the rest of the details!
First up, on lanes 17 & 18: Hulk Smash! took turns kicking the ball return with When Push Comes To Shove. Although topped by Carl Goetz with his 567 series, the Hulk accomplished only 1 win against the Shovers. On the other half of the score sheet, David Parre guided the Shovers with his 519 as his team took the series with 3 wins. Hulk Smash! drops 1 spot in the standings to 7th place, while the Shovers remain in 3rd.
On lanes 19 & 20: Top Guns shared a platter of cheese sticks with The Good Sons. Despite the strength of Pat Searcy with his 566 series, Top Guns accomplished only 1 win against the Sons. In the midst of this, Steve Robinson reigned supreme in the Sons with his outstanding 492 as his team took the series with 3 wins. Top Guns remains in 4th place, while the Sons remain in 5th.
On lanes 21 & 22: D-Day shared a few beers with Bowlers of Mass Destruction. Highlighting the skills of Most Valuable Bowler Scott Murdock and his remarkable 513 series, D-Day split the series with Mass Destruction. Meanwhile, #1 Power Ranked and #1 Head-to-Head Jarrod Guthrie oversaw Mass Destruction with his commanding 604 as they matched their opponent in wins. D-Day remains in 1st place, while Mass Destruction remains in 2nd.
Finally, down on lanes 23 & 24: Spanked spent some quality time with Canned Crabs. Led by Jim Jones with his spectacular 530 series, Spanked collected 3 wins against the Crabs. Countering this, Eric Lynch laid down the law in the Crabs with his below-average 451 despite his team notching only a single win. Spanked leaps 2 spots in the standings to 6th place, while the Crabs sink 1 spot to 8th.

In this week's Tournament of Champions brackets: Nobody claimed victory in Division 1 (though Pat Searcy came closest), while Jim Jones shut down Division 2. Steve Robinson mopped up Division 3, and Scott Murdock got the better of Division 4.
In terms of overall points: Pat Searcy governs Division 1; Ken M. Wilson calls the shots for Division 2; Steve Robinson is in the driver's seat in Division 3; and Marca Robinson tops Division 4.
NEXT WEEK: - First, on lanes 17&18, 1st-place D-Day (hcp 5) will challenge 6th-place Spanked. D-Day is expected to perform well and win the series; while Spanked is forecast to hold steady as they avoid getting swept.
- Moving to lanes 19&20, 2nd-place Bowlers of Mass Destruction will match wits with 8th-place Canned Crabs (hcp 100). Mass Destruction might maintain their current strength as they win the series; while the Crabs ought to raise their average even as they avoid getting swept.
- Then, over on lanes 21&22, 7th-place Hulk Smash! (hcp 76) will tussle with 4th-place Top Guns. The Hulk will likely roll decently, yet still manage to lose the series but avoid getting swept; while Top Guns will probably hold steady as they enjoy their victories.
- Finally, on lanes 23&24, 3rd-place When Push Comes To Shove will spend some quality time with 5th-place The Good Sons (hcp 124). The Shovers are predicted to maintain their current strength as they and split the series with the Sons; while the Sons are anticipated to raise their average while they keep the series tied.
*(Remember, the predicted results above are based on mathematical extrapolations and can be changed by all sorts of factors. If you don't like how your team's results are predicted, you and your teammates have the power to prove the math wrong!)
