The fourteenth week of Fall 2002 saw one team climb in the standings, while one team slipped. Janelle (Laube) Lamar picked up this week's high game (163) and series (446) for the women, while Carl Goetz earned this week's high game (206) and series (611) for the men. First up, on lanes 17 & 18: Top Guns had some one-on-one time with GRRR. Reinforced by Pat Searcy with his 544 series, with kudos to Most Valuable Bowler Phil Schroeder, Top Guns collected 3 wins against GRRR. Simultaneously, Sharon Turner laid down the law in GRRR with her 419 despite her team notching only a single win. Top Guns leap 1 spot in the standings to 2nd place, while GRRR remains in 6th.

On lanes 19 & 20: Team 5 traded lane malfunctions with Pop Gunns. Although topped by David Codding with his thrilling 527 series, Team 5 accomplished only 1 win against Pop Gunns. Concurrently, #1 Power Ranked and #1 Head-to-Head Carl Goetz oversaw Pop Gunns with his phenomenal 611 as his team took the series with 3 wins. Team 5 drops 1 spot in the standings to 3rd place, while Pop Gunns remain in 1st.

Finally, down on lanes 21 & 22: Team 6 took turns kicking the ball return with UnaBowlers. Notwithstanding the leadership of Janelle (Laube) Lamar with her breathtaking 446 series, Team 6 accomplished only 1 win against the UnaBowlers. As for the opposition, Justin Strelow ruled the UnaBowlers with his above-average 494 as his team took the series with 3 wins. Team 6 remains in 4th place, while the UnaBowlers remain in 5th.

NEXT WEEK:
