Angela Bradford picked up this week's high game (222) and series (563) for the women. As for the men, Pat Searcy snagged this week's high game with a 232, and high series was earned by Ken M. First up, on lanes 15 & 16: Bowlers of Mass Confusion spent a romantic evening with Bowl me Ishmael!. In spite of the prowess of Jason Carpio with his 485 series, Mass Confusion accomplished only 1 win against Ishmael. Across the ball return, Michael Basham called the shots for Ishmael with his above-average 460 as his team took the series with 3 wins. Bowlers of Mass Confusion remains in 2nd place, while Ishmael remains in 3rd.
On lanes 17 & 18: Spare Change had a rendezvous with Gutter Minds. Despite being led by Bill Krejci with his above-average 524 series, Spare Change got swept by Gutter Minds. Countering this, Pat Searcy took the lead in Gutter Minds with his above-average 619 as they swept the competition. Spare Change remains in 8th place, while Gutter Minds move 1 spot to 6th.
On lanes 19 & 20: Wolverines accepted a challenge by Theee Beeelt. Headlined by Thomas Lin with his above-average 575 series, the Wolverines collected 3 wins against Theee Beeelt. On the adjacent lane, Aaron Weidner oversaw Theee Beeelt with his above-average 516 despite his team notching only a single win. Wolverines leap 1 spot in the standings to 4th place, while Theee Beeelt sinks 1 spot to 5th.
Finally, down on lanes 21 & 22: Atomic Goo celebrated their love of large, heavy balls with Anchors Aweigh!. Though featuring Phil Schroeder with his above-average 442 series, Atomic Goo got swept by the Anchors. Simultaneously, trifecta-winner (#1 Head-to-Head, #1 Power-Ranked, and Most Valuable Bowler) Ken M. Wilson drew the spotlight in the Anchors with his stupendous 631 as they swept the competition. Atomic Goo drops 1 spot in the standings to 7th place, while the Anchors remain in 1st.

In this week's Tournament of Champions brackets: Ken M. Wilson topped Division 1, while Thomas Lin staked a claim for the Iron Throne in Division 2. Scott Murdock swept Division 3, and Janelle (Laube) Lamar creamed Division 4. In terms of overall points: Carl Goetz is in the driver's seat in Division 1; Pat Searcy holds the reins in Division 2; Seth Gunderson reigns over Division 3; and Dennis Pruitt leads Division 4.
NEXT WEEK:
- First, on lanes 15&16, 4th-place Wolverines (hcp 86) will throw some gutter balls with 1st-place Anchors Aweigh!. The Wolverines are expected to perform well, yet still manage to lose the series but avoid getting swept; while the Anchors are forecast to raise their average while they enjoy their victories.
- Moving to lanes 17&18, 5th-place Theee Beeelt will challenge 7th-place Atomic Goo (estimated hcp 50). Theee Beeelt might perform well and win the series; while Atomic Goo ought to hold steady as they avoid getting swept.
- Then, over on lanes 19&20, 3rd-place Bowl me Ishmael! (hcp 80) will roll against 8th-place Spare Change. Ishmael will likely roll decently, yet still manage to lose the series but avoid getting swept; while Spare Change will probably hold steady as they enjoy their victories.
- Finally, on lanes 21&22, 6th-place Gutter Minds will chill with 2nd-place Bowlers of Mass Confusion (hcp 33). Gutter Minds are predicted to maintain their current strength as they and split the series with Mass Confusion; while Mass Confusion is anticipated to raise their average while they keep the series tied.
