The fourth week of Fall 2005 saw two teams climb in the standings, while two teams slipped. One bowler set a new personal best series. Janelle (Laube) Lamar picked up this week's high game (132) and series (382) for the women, while David Codding earned this week's high game (245) and series (702) for the men. Meanwhile, the Tournament of Champions also kicked off tonight, beginning of 13 weeks of one-on-one bowling excitement! Read on for all the rest of the details!
First up, on lanes 21 & 22: Tatonka chucked gutter balls with Derka, Derka. With the strength of Will Jeter with his above-average 534 series, Tatonka split the series with Derka, Derka. As for the opposition, Thomas Lin took the lead in Derka, Derka with his 535 as they matched their opponent in wins. Tatonka drops 1 spot in the standings to 3rd place, while Derka, Derka remains in 1st.
On lanes 23 & 24: Munson'd couldn't stop inappropriately groping Three Men and a Babe. Though reinforced by Gabe Wishnie with his 386 series, Munson'd got swept by Three Men and a Babe. On the adjacent lane, trifecta-winner (#1 Head-to-Head, #1 Power-Ranked, and Most Valuable Bowler) David Codding mastered Three Men and a Babe with his miraculous 702 as they swept the competition. Munson'd remains in 8th place, while Three Men and a Babe moves 1 spot to 5th.
On lanes 25 & 26: Same Belt, New Notch sparred with The Big LeBowlskies. While headlined by Demond Robinson with his 539 series, the Belt accomplished only 1 win against The Big LeBowlskies. Meanwhile, Dennis Laube reigned supreme in The Big LeBowlskies with his 537 as his team took the series with 3 wins. Same Belt, New Notch remains in 4th place, while The Big LeBowlskies move 1 spot to 2nd.
Finally, down on lanes 27 & 28: Harry Potter and the Magic Balls had some one-on-one time with Bora Bora!. Regardless of the star power of Andy Metzler with his 501 series, Harry Potter accomplished only 1 win against Bora Bora!. While that was going down, John Richardson oversaw Bora Bora! with his phenomenal 445 as his team took the series with 3 wins. Harry Potter and the Magic Balls remains in 7th place, while Bora Bora! sinks 1 spot to 6th.

A new personal best series was rolled tonight by David Codding (702, previous best 648). Adding to the excitement, the 702 rolled by David Codding is this season's new high series for men.

In this week's Tournament of Champions brackets: Ken M. Wilson triumphed over his enemies in Division 1, while nobody claimed victory in Division 2 (though David Parre came closest). Nobody claimed victory in Division 3 (though Janelle (Laube) Lamar came closest), and John Richardson conquered Division 4. In terms of overall points: Ken M. Wilson dominates Division 1; David Parre calls the shots for Division 2; Janelle (Laube) Lamar governs Division 3; and John Richardson leads Division 4.
