Fall 2007 Week 14 Robo-RecapThe fourteenth week of Fall 2007 saw two teams climb in the standings, while two teams slipped. One bowler set a new personal best series. Jennifer Seefeldt picked up this week's high game (183) and series (498) for the women. As for the men, Jason Carpio snagged this week's high game with a 223, and high series was earned by Ryan Doll with a 595. Read on for all the rest of the details!

First up, on lanes 17 & 18: Bad Newz Kennels took turns kicking the ball return with Sh!t, I Don't Know. In spite of top-billing by Dennis Laube with his powerful 546 series, the Kennels accomplished only 1 win against I Don't Know. Meanwhile, Cory Chorpenning ruled I Don't Know with his 593 as his team took the series with 3 wins. Bad Newz Kennels drop 1 spot in the standings to 2nd place, while I Don't Know moves 1 spot to 1st.

An irritated Kody waits for Russell to bowl.On lanes 19 & 20: Seriously Handicapped faced off against Dios Mios. Led by Tyler Hilker with his 505 series, the Handicapped collected 3 wins against Dios Mios. Concurrently, #1 Power-Ranked Dave Winger called the shots for Dios Mios with his miraculous 488 despite his team notching only a single win. Seriously Handicapped remains in 10th place, while Dios Mios remain in 3rd.

On lanes 21 & 22: Seefeldt the Glasscock accepted a challenge by Your Mom. Even though highlighted by the skills of Ken M. Wilson with his 524 series, the Glasscock accomplished only 1 win against Your Mom. Countering this, #1 Head-to-Head Ryan Doll commanded Your Mom with his above-average 595 as his team took the series with 3 wins. Seefeldt the Glasscock remains in 4th place, while Your Mom moves 1 spot to 8th.

On lanes 23 & 24: The GameCox kept grabbing the balls of Cannonbelt Run. Blessed by Jason Carpio with his remarkable 588 series, the GameCox split the series with Cannonbelt. As for the opposition, Nik Domann took the lead in Cannonbelt with his 488 (with kudos to Most Valuable Bowler Shaun Crockett) as they matched their opponent in wins. The GameCox drops 1 spot in the standings to 9th place, while Cannonbelt remains in 5th.

Finally, down on lanes 25 & 26: Ebowla had a rendezvous with Split Happens. Though reinforced by Travis Kleiner with his 410 series, Ebowla accomplished only 1 win against Split Happens. On the other side, Nick Allegri dominated Split Happens with his below-average 424 as his team took the series with 3 wins. Ebowla remains in 7th place, while Split Happens remain in 6th.

Bowlers enjoying a guest admission to The 200 Club include: Cory Chorpenning (208), Dennis Laube (209), Duncan Ferber (204), Jason Carpio (200,223), Nik Domann (200), Ryan Doll (201,201), and Tyler Hilker (216)

A new personal best series was rolled tonight by Shaun Crockett (456, previous best 452).

In this week's Tournament of Champions brackets: Nobody claimed victory in Division 1 (though Cory Chorpenning came closest), while Ryan Doll walloped Division 2. Jennifer Seefeldt vanquished Division 3, and John Kroenke creamed Division 4. And, finally, nobody claimed victory in the Interdivisional bracket (though Tyler Hilker (Division ) came closest). In terms of overall points: Duncan Ferber reigns over Division 1; Nik Domann governs Division 2; David Parre dominates Division 3; and Travis Kleiner tops Division 4.

NEXT WEEK:
  • First, on lanes 19&20, 10th-place Seriously Handicapped will socialize with 7th-place Ebowla (hcp 17). The Handicapped is expected to perform well and win the series; while Ebowla is forecast to raise their average even as they avoid getting swept.
  • Moving to lanes 21&22, 8th-place Your Mom (hcp 136) will meet with 1st-place Sh!t, I Don't Know. Your Mom might perform well and win the series; while I Don't Know ought to drop their average a bit while they avoid getting swept.
  • Then, over on lanes 23&24, 9th-place The GameCox (hcp 32) will challenge 3rd-place Dios Mios. The GameCox will likely maintain their current strength as they and split the series with Dios Mios; while Dios Mios will probably hold steady as they keep the series tied.
  • Next up, on lanes 25&26, 2nd-place Bad Newz Kennels will test their mettle against 6th-place Split Happens (hcp 120). The Kennels might perform well and sweep the series; while Split Happens ought to hold steady as they endure a rough night.
  • Finally, on lanes 27&28, 4th-place Seefeldt the Glasscock will hang out with 5th-place Cannonbelt Run (hcp 275). The Glasscock is predicted to roll a little low, yet still manage to win the series; while Cannonbelt is anticipated to hold steady as they avoid getting swept.
*(Remember, the predicted results above are based on mathematical extrapolations and can be changed by all sorts of factors. If you don't like how your team's results are predicted, you and your teammates have the power to prove the math wrong!)
