The Fall 2006 season draws to a close, with Bowlkake2 officially earning this season's championship title! The final week saw three teams climb in the standings, while three teams slipped. Two bowlers set a new personal best series, and one rolled new personal high game. Angela Bradford picked up this week's high game (257) and series (648) for the women. As for the men, John Boren snagged this week's high game with a 223, and high series was earned by Andy McLeod with a 587. Read on for all the rest of the details!

First up, on lanes 15 & 16: Hez-Bowl-lah kept stealing sips of beer from Bowlkake2. Though reinforced by Rich DeYoung with his above-average 537 series, Hez-Bowl-lah accomplished only 1 win against Bowlkake2. Meanwhile, Dennis Laube commanded Bowlkake2 with his above-average 522 as his team took the series with 3 wins. Hez-Bowl-lah plummets 2 spots in the standings to complete in 3rd place, while Bowlkake2 moves 1 spot to go home with 1st.

On lanes 17 & 18: Split Happens spent some quality time with New Balls, Old Rack. In spite of top-billing by Nick Allegri with his above-average 507 series, Split Happens got swept by the Old Rack. Simultaneously, #1 Power Ranked and #1 Head-to-Head Angela Bradford called the shots for the Old Rack with her marvelous 648 as they swept the competition. Split Happens drop 1 spot in the standings to end the season in 4th place, while the Old Rack jumps 2 spots to wind up in 2nd.

On lanes 19 & 20: All Belts Are Off had a rendezvous with Frickin' Ten Pins. Led by David Codding with his 561 series, the Belt split the series with Frickin' Ten Pins. In the midst of this, Carl Goetz reigned supreme in Frickin' Ten Pins with his above-average 570 as they matched their opponent in wins. All Belts Are Off end in 5th place, while Frickin' Ten Pins come out in 6th.

On lanes 21 & 22: TBD faced off against I Can't Believe It's Not Gutter. Showcasing Greg Middleton with his breathtaking 504 series, TBD split the series with Not Gutter. Countering this, Ryan Doll mastered Not Gutter with his above-average 566 as they matched their opponent in wins. TBD finish in 7th place, while Not Gutter sinks 1 spot to end up with 9th.

Finally, down on lanes 23 & 24: Manute Bowl shared a few beers with Guttersluts. Headlined by Most Valuable Bowler Andy McLeod and his thrilling 587 series, Manute Bowl collected 3 wins against the Guttersluts. On the flipside, John Boren laid down the law in the Guttersluts with his below-average 532 despite his team notching only a single win. Manute Bowl leaps 1 spot in the standings to 8th place, while the Guttersluts 10th.

Angela Bradford landed this week's high game for the women with a 198, and women's high series was bagged by Freda Schroeder with a 485. As for the men, Ken M. Wilson earned this week's high game (238) and series (655).Meanwhile, Tournament of Champions is officially down to its final eight bowlers, who will face each other next week competing for two cash prizes! First up, on lanes 15 & 16: Guttersluts chucked gutter balls with TBD. Led by John Boren with his 551 series, the Guttersluts collected 3 wins against TBD. In the meantime, David Parre oversaw TBD with his 470 despite his team notching only a single win. Guttersluts remains in 10th place, while TBD remains in 7th.

On lanes 17 & 18: I Can't Believe It's Not Gutter had a rendezvous with Frickin' Ten Pins. Showcasing Ryan Doll with his above-average 525 series, Not Gutter celebrated a clean sweep over Frickin' Ten Pins. Simultaneously, Carl Goetz shined in Frickin' Ten Pins with his above-average 588 despite his team getting swept. I Can't Believe It's Not Gutter leaps 1 spot in the standings to 8th place, while Frickin' Ten Pins remain in 6th.

On lanes 19 & 20: Manute Bowl entered a showdown to the death with Split Happens. Even though highlighted by the skills of Andy McLeod with his dazzling 519 series, Manute Bowl got swept by Split Happens. While that was going down, Most Valuable Bowler Amy Logan mastered Split Happens with her outstanding 433 as they swept the competition. Manute Bowl drops 1 spot in the standings to 9th place, while Split Happens move 1 spot to 3rd.

On lanes 21 & 22: Hez-Bowl-lah sparred with Bowlkake2. Although topped by Rich DeYoung with his above-average 535 series, Hez-Bowl-lah accomplished only 1 win against Bowlkake2. Meanwhile, Thomas Lin laid down the law in Bowlkake2 with his 566 (with a nod to #1 Power-Ranked Dave Hickerson) as his team took the series with 3 wins. Hez-Bowl-lah remains in 1st place, while Bowlkake2 remains in 2nd.

Finally, down on lanes 23 & 24: New Balls, Old Rack spent some quality time with All Belts Are Off. Headlined by #1 Head-to-Head Ken M. Wilson and his stunning 655 series, the Old Rack split the series with the Belt. Across the ball return, Seth Gunderson guided the Belt with his miraculous 545 as they matched their opponent in wins. New Balls, Old Rack drops 1 spot in the standings to 4th place, while the Belt remains in 5th.

In this week's Tournament of Champions brackets: Ken M. Wilson won Division 1, while nobody claimed victory in Division 2 (though Rich DeYoung came closest). Scott Murdock walloped Division 3, and nobody claimed victory in Division 4 (though Nick Crofoot came closest).
