The fourth week of Fall 2005 saw two teams climb in the standings, while two teams slipped. One bowler set a new personal best series. Janelle (Laube) Lamar picked up this week's high game (132) and series (382) for the women, while David Codding earned this week's high game (245) and series (702) for the men. Meanwhile, the Tournament of Champions also kicked off tonight, beginning of 13 weeks of one-on-one bowling excitement! Read on for all the rest of the details!
First up, on lanes 21 & 22: Tatonka matched wits with Derka, Derka. Headlined by Will Jeter with his above-average 534 series, Tatonka split the series with Derka, Derka. As for the opposition, Thomas Lin called the shots for Derka, Derka with his 535 as they matched their opponent in wins. Tatonka drops 1 spot in the standings to 3rd place, while Derka, Derka remains in 1st.
On lanes 23 & 24: Munson'd entered a showdown to the death with Three Men and a Babe. Despite being led by Gabe Wishnie with his 386 series, Munson'd got swept by Three Men and a Babe. In the midst of this, trifecta-winner (#1 Head-to-Head, #1 Power-Ranked, and Most Valuable Bowler) David Codding showed off in Three Men and a Babe with his dramatic 702 as they swept the competition. Munson'd remains in 8th place, while Three Men and a Babe moves 1 spot to 5th.
On lanes 25 & 26: Same Belt, New Notch tussled with The Big LeBowlskies. Although blessed by Demond Robinson with his 539 series, the Belt accomplished only 1 win against The Big LeBowlskies. On the other side, Dennis Laube dominated The Big LeBowlskies with his 537 as his team took the series with 3 wins. Same Belt, New Notch remains in 4th place, while The Big LeBowlskies move 1 spot to 2nd.
Finally, down on lanes 27 & 28: Harry Potter and the Magic Balls spent some quality time with Bora Bora!. Though reinforced by Andy Metzler with his 501 series, Harry Potter accomplished only 1 win against Bora Bora!. On the adjacent lane, John Richardson oversaw Bora Bora! with his staggering 445 as his team took the series with 3 wins. Harry Potter and the Magic Balls remains in 7th place, while Bora Bora! sinks 1 spot to 6th.

A new personal best series was rolled tonight by David Codding (702, previous best 648). Adding to the excitement, the 702 rolled by David Codding is this season's new high series for men.

In this week's Tournament of Champions brackets: Ken M. Wilson triumphed over his enemies in Division 1, while nobody claimed victory in Division 2 (though David Parre came closest). Nobody claimed victory in Division 3 (though Janelle (Laube) Lamar came closest), and John Richardson mopped up Division 4. In terms of overall points: Ken M. Wilson tops Division 1; David Parre calls the shots for Division 2; Janelle (Laube) Lamar runs the show in Division 3; and John Richardson holds the reins in Division 4.
