Fall 2002 Week 14 Robo-RecapThe fourteenth week of Fall 2002 saw one team climb in the standings, while one team slipped. First up, on lanes 17 & 18: Top Guns accepted a challenge by GRRR. With top billing by Pat Searcy with his 544 series, with kudos to Most Valuable Bowler Phil Schroeder, Top Guns collected 3 wins against GRRR. While that was going down, Sharon Turner mastered GRRR with her 419 despite her team notching only a single win. Top Guns leap 1 spot in the standings to 2nd place, while GRRR remains in 6th.

An irritated Kody waits for Russell to bowl.On lanes 19 & 20: Team 5 couldn't stop inappropriately groping Pop Gunns. Although blessed by David Codding with his amazing 527 series, Team 5 accomplished only 1 win against Pop Gunns. Concurrently, #1 Power Ranked and #1 Head-to-Head Carl Goetz guided Pop Gunns with his staggering 611 as his team took the series with 3 wins. Team 5 drops 1 spot in the standings to 3rd place, while Pop Gunns remain in 1st.

Finally, down on lanes 21 & 22: Team 6 had some one-on-one time with UnaBowlers. Regardless of the star power of Janelle (Laube) Lamar with her remarkable 446 series, Team 6 accomplished only 1 win against the UnaBowlers. As for the opposition, Justin Strelow shined in the UnaBowlers with his above-average 494 as his team took the series with 3 wins. Team 6 remains in 4th place, while the UnaBowlers remain in 5th.

NEXT WEEK:

  • First, on lanes 17&18, 1st-place Pop Gunns will hang out with 4th-place Team 6. • Moving to lanes 19&20, 5th-place UnaBowlers will compete against 6th-place GRRR. The UnaBowlers might see their averages fall off a cliff, but split the series with GRRR; while GRRR ought to see their team average take a dive while they keep the series tied.
