Spring 2002 Week 10 Robo-RecapThe tenth week of Spring 2002 saw one team climb in the standings, while one team slipped. Angela Bradford picked up this week's high game (173) and series (415) for the women, while Bob Brunker earned this week's high game (213) and series (556) for the men. Read on for all the rest of the details!

First up, on lanes 1 & 2: Team 3 chucked gutter balls with Team 2. Although blessed by Bill Krejci with his below-average 426 series, Team 3 accomplished only 1 win against Team 2. On the adjacent lane, Angela Bradford showed off in Team 2 with her below-average 415 (along with kudos to #1 Power-Ranked and Most Valuable Bowler Angie Betts, as well as #1 Head-to-Head ) as her team took the series with 3 wins. Team 3 remains in 4th place, while Team 2 remains in 3rd.

Finally, down on lanes 3 & 4: Top Guns celebrated their love of large, heavy balls with Fab Four. Notwithstanding the leadership of Bob Brunker with his above-average 556 series, Top Guns accomplished only 1 win against Fab Four. On the other side, Ken M. Wilson reigned supreme in Fab Four with his 531 (with props to #1 Head-to-Head bowler ) as his team took the series with 3 wins. Top Guns drop 1 spot in the standings to 2nd place, while Fab Four moves 1 spot to 1st.

Bowlers who stripped naked and shared a cozy hottub together in a back room at The 200 Club include: Bob Brunker (213), Ken M. Wilson (200), and Pat Searcy (203)

NEXT WEEK:

  • First, on lanes 1&2, 1st-place Fab Four (hcp 28) will spend some quality time with 2nd-place Top Guns. Fab Four is expected to perform weakly, yet still manage to sweep the series; while Top Guns are forecast to see their team average take a dive while they endure a rough night.
  • Finally, on lanes 3&4, 3rd-place Team 2 will socialize with 4th-place Team 3 (hcp 9). Team 2 is predicted to watch their averages take a plunge as they lose the series but avoid getting swept; while Team 3 is anticipated to see their team average take a dive even though they enjoy their victories.
*(Remember, the predicted results above are based on mathematical extrapolations and can be changed by all sorts of factors. If you don't like how your team's results are predicted, you and your teammates have the power to prove the math wrong!)
