FROM WHEELER AIRPORT - ALTERNATE (TRAIN) ROUTE:

North (Red) Route From the airport parking lot head north on Richards Road. As Richards makes its curve to the west, exit onto US-169 North. Take US-169 North northward to the MO-9 exit. Enter MO-9 northbound, stay in the far left lane. Just under the overpass is an exit ramp you can use to u-turn onto southbound MO-9. Continue south on MO-9. Shortly North Oak Trafficway merges from the left and MO-9 will become Burlington. Continue south on Burlington to 18th Ave. 18th is on the left and does not have a traffic light, it is the first street on the left after Armour. Turn east (left) onto 18th Ave. Proceed 1 block past the first traffic light and the bowling center will be on your right. Park in the east (far) half of the lot and enter through the box-shaped set of glass doors.  South (Green) Route From the airport parking lot connect to US-169 South. As you cross the Broadway Bridge get into the left lane. After the first traffic light, marge left again. (Watch for traffic entering from under the bridge, it has the right-of-way for that lane!). At the second traffic light turn east (left) onto 6th Street. Immediately exit left onto I-70 East. In moments take the second exit to MO-9/Oak. Stay left as you exit and merge back onto 6th Street, you will immediately exit left again to MO-9/North Oak Trafficway. Continue north on MO-9, which becomes Burlington after you enter North Kansas City. Take Burlington north to 18th Ave. 18th will appear suddenly on the right at the end of a long red-brick building and is not at a traffic light. If you reach Armour Blvd you have gone too far. Turn east (right) on 18th. Proceed 1 block past the first traffic light and the bowling center will be on your right. Park in the east (far) half of the lot and enter through the box-shaped set of glass doors.
